Soumya is a women I would never ever wish to be. She is a horrible example of a women. Soumya is the pretty one but she is worthless to herself and her daughter. She is and will always be the damsel in distress. I tried to like her but as I grow with this show, she is the worst.
She can't do anything for herself. How can she do anything for her daughter?
In the beginning, she left her rich parents for her middle class love. She had Krishna to fall back at that time. When her in-laws came and things began to get rocky instead of standing there as a strong women/wife she cried and ran to the closest thing, Suhani home. After some time, a respectable women would try and go back home to make mends with her parents or try and make a life for herself. But nope, she decides to grab the only thing that can keep her in that house, her best friend husband. Now Dad was her fall back. But all is forgiven and she goes back to Krishna, she still has that rocky in-law relationship but stands up to them because Krishna realized how horrible his mother and sister were. But then again she gets stuck in their stupid drama and plays Mata (to be honest I forwarded all her scenes during this time because well if she was to play stupid so be it but I ain't going to sit there and watch it. So I don't know how that Mata/brain washing thing ended). Then Krishna brings home so much money, women think oh I forgot she an airhead. Suhani questions her but she sweeps it under the rug, why because if the truth comes out the moral thing to do would be to stop him but why would she, it's easy to play blind. Then the blast and disowned by her in-laws, where does a women go. Well your mother forgave you, so go home women and get a job and make something of yourself. Something your daughter could be proud of. But nope its easier to run to a married man again. Now you can't leave because your daughter will lose everything. Don't get me wrong but what have you done for that family that your daughter deserves something. Took care of Yuvani, well you didn't do a good job, she is a brat. You didn't even do good by your own daughter by letting her and others treat your daughter as a runner up.
Suhani on the other hand, find out her husband doesn't love her, she leaves. She stands her ground with her in-laws. Someone comes and plays with her life and family, she fights back hard. Yes she makes a mistake, she accepts it and leaves. But she doesn't just leaves and cry but becomes a better person. Someone her son could be proud of. Suhani doesn't need someone to back her up. She knows when to hold her weight and stand against the wind.
Soumya is the purana zamana type women, she SUCKS!!!
