CHAPTER-11
Everyone came down for lunch.
They had a quiet lunch and then were relaxing in the hall talking on random things.
There entered the one and only Miss. Evil Mind..
Yes guys you guessed it right.
It was none other than Soha.
Soha saw Manik and said- Oh my God Manik. You are finally here.
Saying this she came and hugged Manik.
Manik was taken aback by the sudden hug. He immediately broke the hug and said-
Aaahhh... Yes Soha I am finally here.
How are you?
Soha- I am perfectly fine . How about you?
Manik- I am good Soha.
Soha- So tell me how was your stay. I want to know everything. Come let's sit over here.
Manik with pleading eyes asked Shanti to save him from Soha.
Nandini giggled seeing Manik's pleading eyes.
Shanti- Soha wo abhi abhi to aya hai. Ab yahi rahega. Aaram se sab puch Lena. Kahi bhage those na jaa raha hai Manik.
Nyonika- Haa Soha Didi sahi keh rahi hai. Tum aao mere sath. We need to discuss something .
Soha- OK Aunty chaliye.
Before going she threw a dirty look at Shanti and walked away to Nyonika's room.
Manik- Thanks Bua. Apne bacha liya.
Shanti- Hmm... To make badle me mujhe kya milega.
Manik- Jo ap bolo. Anything.
Shanti- Anything. Soch lo.
Manik- Soch liya.
Shanti- Chal mere sath batati hu.
Manik- Par kaha.
Shanti- Tu chal to sahi.
Manik- Ok fine chaliye.
Shanti took him to her room and gave him a packet.
Manik- Bua . Ye kya hai.

Manik- But Bua...

Shanti- Beta ye koi ordinary locket nai hai. Surya devta ka aashirwaad hai isme. Use kabhi khona mat. Hamesha pehen ke rakhna. Ye tumhari raksha karega har burai se.
Manik- Ji Bua. Mai abhi pehen leta hu.
Saying this he wore it in front of her.
Shanti smiled seeing it.

Manik- Acha Bua ap rest karo mai aata hu.
With this he went out of her room.
He asked one of the servants- Nandini Madam kaha hai.
Servant - Baba wo terrace pe hai.
Manik- Theek hai tum jao.
Servant went away.
Manik went to the terrace and saw Nandini sitting on a chair lost in her thoughts.
Manik observed that since the time he had come back , Nandini was very reserved and silent type. He thought to ask her the reason.
Manik- Nandini.
Nandini looked at Manik and immediately straightened her dupatta on her head.

Nandini- Acha. Kya baat karni hai.
Manik- Pehle baitho aaram se.
Nandini sat down.
Nandini- Boliye .Kya baat karni hai.
Manik- Pehle tum ye batao tum yaha khush to ho na. I mean koi problem to nahi hai na tumhe yahan.
Nandini- Hum theek hai. Koi problem nai hai Hume yahan.
She said all this avoiding eye contact with Manik. While saying this she crossed her fingers .
Manik observed this antic of her.
Manik- Fir tum itni dari sehmi kyu rehti ho.
Nandini- Aisi koi baat nahi hai. Hum to pehle se hi aise hai.
Hume zyada baat karna pasand nahi hai.
Manik- Acha . Theek hai. Maan liya. Baaton baaton me mai bhul hi gaya mai yahan kyu aaya tha. Actually mujhe tumhari help chahiye thi.
Nandini- Help. Hamari. Kisliye.
Manik- Kal Bua ka birthday hai. To mai unhe surprise dena chahta hu. Lekin mujhe usme tumhari help chahiye.
Nandini- Buaji ka birthday. Hame to pata hi nai tha. Unhone kabhi celebrate kiya hi nahi.
Manik- Haan . But abse karengi wo celebrate.
Nandini- Aapko bahut fikr hai na Buaji ki. Bahut chahti ho na ap unhe.
Manik- Haan bahut.
And ya no one should come to know about this surprise . It should be among the three of us.
Nandini- Ok done.Kya help chahiye ap hame bataye hum sab kardenge.
Manik- Pehle to we need to decorate the terrace . And we have to make sure that nobody comes up here. Then food and cake.
Nandini- OK done. But I will make the cake for Buaji.
(She got really excited as she always liked planning surprised for her loved ones )
Manik smiled seeing her excitement.
Manik- OK then we will meet here in an hour. I will get all the required items of decoration and if you need anything else tell me . I will get it. Here take my number.
He gave her his mobile number.
Nandini - OK .
With this Manik went down .
Nandini also came down and went to kitchen.
