Nandini was lost in the thoughts of Manik. Suddenly 2 women barged into her room and started taunting her. She couldn't hear the taunts and broke down. The women asked Nandini to forget Manik as he didn't want to see her face anymore. They asked her to leave the house immediately . Nandini wanted to see Manik once but they didn't allow and threw her out of the house. 

Who were these women?

Character sketch-

Nandini Malhotra- 22 year old simple , innocent girl. Widow of Vivek Malhotra. Lives in her in-laws house.

Manik Malhotra- 25 year old hot, handsome and sexy guy. A photographer by profession or rather it's his passion. Son of Raj and Nyonika Malhotra. Loves his parents a lot. Has a crush on Aliya Saxena(top model).

Raj and Nyonika Malhotra- Parents of Vivek and Manik. Both of them handle the Malhotra empire.

Nyonika hates Nandini and holds her responsible for her elder sons death.

Vivek Malhotra- Elder son of Malhotras. Died in an accident within few months of his marriage with Nandini.

Aliya Saxena- 23 year old fashion diva. One of the top models of India. Sweet girl. Likes Manik and enjoys all the attention she gets from him.

Soha khurana- 25 year old , wicked ,manipulative girl. Stays at Malhotra Mansion. Always stays with Nyonika as her mother(Nyonika's friend) stays abroad with her father for business reasons. Hates nandini .

Rest of the characters will be introduced as the story progresses.

Chapter 1- 

A girl woke up early morning due to the constant buzzing of alarm and rushed to freshen up. She took a bath  wore her clothes and came out . She combed her long hair and tied it together , covered her head with a dupatta and went out of her small room.

She performed pooja and then went to kitchen to prepare breakfast for her family members.

She had to be extra careful while preparing the food. She knew that one mistake and she would have to listen to the taunts of her mother in law.

That girl was Nandini . She was a widow and was living with her in-laws since 2 years . After her husbands death she didn't got the respect she deserved from her in-laws. Her mil(mother in law- Nyonika) used to taunt her as she considered Nandini to be the reason of her son's death.

Coming back to the story.

She prepared the food with perfection and went out of the kitchen for setting the table. As soon as she left someone entered and added a lot of chilli powder in the curry and smiled wickedly.

Everyone came down and Nandini served the food. As soon as they ate it they spit it out. Nyonika started her taunting session about her carelessness. Nandini was confused as to what she has done now so she innocently asked

Nandini- kya hua mummyji khana theek se nahi bana hai kya.

Nyonika- lo ab aise pretend mat karo jaise tumhe much pata hi nai. Kahi tum ne ye jaan bujh kar to nahi kiya . ye soch karke ki hamara muh jal jaye itni zyada mirch se.

Nandini- Nahi mummyji mai aisa kyu karungi. Mai ne to sab theek se check kiya tha cook karne ke baad. Pata nai ye kaise hogaya.

Nyonika- Acha to tum ye kehna chahti ho ki kisi aur ne ye kiya. Tum...

Raj (cut her in between)- offo kabhi is ghar me sukoon se khane milega ya nahi. Roz roz wahi tamasha. Saying this he got up and left.

Nyonika again started taunting Nandini . 

Soha was all this while enjoying it.

Yes it was Soha who added chilli powder in the food.

Nandini couldn't take it any longer and ran to her room.

She cried her heart out. Someone saw Nandini crying and felt really bad.

That person came inside the room and sat near Nandini.

He wiped her tears and asked her not to cry.

She stopped crying and hugged him.

So here is the first chapter. How's it?

CHAPTER- 2

Nandini hugged that person for a long time and the person kept patting her head. Nandini felt a little relieved and broke the hug.

The person then asked Nandini to relax and have some food as she didn't have food last night also and that she will fall weak if she keeps skipping meals just for the sake of such mean people.

At first Nandini refused and then after a lot of insistence from that person she had a little food.

That person asked Nandini not to take too much stress about such things and said that god cannot be so harsh upon her and that soon she will be relieved of all these tortures and will be able to lead a happy life.

That person was her Vivek's aunt( bua) Shanti. She was a widow as well and stayed at her brother's (Raj Malhotra) house. Raj loved his sister a lot but Nyonika didn't like her a bit as she always had an upper hand over Nyonika regarding the family matters.

Shanti liked Nandini a lot and always stood by her in everything.

Coming back to the story , 

After eating Nandini went to the terrace to get some fresh air and sat there for a long time thinking of how her life changed so quickly. 

FLASHBACK:

A peak into Nandini's past-

She was a fun loving, care free girl who used to live life to the fullest . 

Though she was not rich but still her mother fulfilled all her wishes even before she said it .

Her mother was a school teacher and they lived in a small bungalow which her father had left for them before dying.

Though her mother was a single parent , yet she never made her realize her father's absence.

Both of them were each other's world.

One day Shanti spotted Nandini at a temple and liked her instantly. 

Shanti meet Nandini's mother and asked Nandini's hand for Vivek . 

Her mother met Vivek and liked him instantly so she said yes.

Shanti on the other hand convinced Raj and even he said yes as he had full confidence on his sister's choice. And about Vivek he was bowled over by Nandini's beauty and innocence.

But Nyonika was against this marriage as she felt that Nandini's family status doesn't match to their status and she cannot be an ideal daugter in law to the Malhotra's.

But Raj and Vivek didn't agree to this. So she had to give in to their demand.

Nandini and Vivek got married eventually but Nyonika didn't accept Nandini wholeheartedly.

Nyonika tried every trick to keep Nandini away from Vivek.

On the wedding night she pretended to fall sick and Vivek being a good obedient son took care of his mother. 

The next day she sent Vivek to London by saying that their company would suffer great loss if he doesn't go and fix the problem there. 

Vivek half-heartedly agreed. He wanted to take Nandini along with him but Nyonika made some excuse and didn't allow that to happen.
