How did Shaan get the inspiration to design or construct Rajni's facial features? Does Rajni's face resemble someone he knew in the past?p

Probably and I hope they do that. I think he must have seen the face somewhere before.

I've been wondering about that, too. I was thinking about those few times Shaan mentioned that his love life took a turn for the worse because he was so dedicated to his passion project - Rajni - and I was curious about his previous relationship since he doesn't seem like a very romantic guy...And then I suddenly thought, "Does Rajni resemble Shaan's ex-girlfriend...?" I guess there's also a chance that he designed her facial features without any associations to particular people, based on what he feels is attractive.

That's also possible but hard to believe. Yeah maybe he generated an average picture of a face from a lot of different attractive faces but that kind of kills the fun. Maybe Rajni resembles one of his ex or he just saw her face in a dream before which again is possible only if he actually saw it somewhere before in his life or an even incredible theory... Rajni's face is an extract from his past life memory.

True but Shaan doesn't seem like the person who shares everything with his parents. So it's still a possibility.

It could be a collection of Indian model faces from the Internet. Because what Shaan said in the first episode is that she looks even better than the beauty queen. So he could have taken several beauty queen photos and made a face that to him looks even better than them.

Ex-girlfriend's face seems unlikely since Shaan wants Rajni to be seen as a normal human. And if it's the face of someone who was close to him, there is a risk of that person bumping into the robot... and things becoming a mess.
