Families often play villains in love stories -- be it on screen or off it.
Seems, Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover are facing a similar predicament in their relationship.
Initially, it was Bips' family that wanted her to stay away from the twice-divorced KSG (Bipasha's Mom Orders Her Daughter To Dump Karan, 16 Jul).
Later, however, they warmed up to the actor (Bipasha's family finally accepts Karan, 11 Jan) and welcomed him into their fold.

Now, turns out KSG's mom isn't happy with Bips. The lady, we hear, cannot accept the Raaz girl's past relationships (Dino Morea, John Abraham and Harman Baweja).

Mrs Grover, we hear, was unhappy with Karan's previous wife Jennifer Winget as well. After they got married, she allegedly didn't enter Karan's house till the time Jenny moved out. Apparently, she also made him promise that he will not remarry without her blessings.
Now that KSG has even gifted a promise ring to Bips (Karan gifts promise ring to Bipasha, 23 Feb) we wonder who will win in the end.
