I missed to mention, in the last update, Appa choking up was a very nice touchy moment.
I guess, parents get more time with each other after fulfilling responsibilities. Periappa is no more, Appa retired, routines changed , and I see a nice bonding more felt now between them , reconciling themselves
to relaxation for them .

Monday there was no preschool for the kids. II avoided looking or talking to him Sunday after the blow up in the ground floor patio
Mahavir tried his best to dance around the couple at dinner

"Amma when session's over and its summer can we stay here for sometime?" Nivi asked softly

"Beta u stay here only " Ranjan explained

"Dadu we always go to Paris before I can play with Macy or do that Summer Scents Art Camp?" Nivi was pleasant and polite and soft spoken

R&B ate quietly

II did the scheduling he was just their driver, she managed their school life and social one

Ranjan looked at II

"Is summer thodi se late kareen book beta" he urged

II didnt respond, Sahana chattering loudly banging her spoon on the table of her high chair
She was like the family dog, she ate crumbs and she stole from plates
Being tied down on the high chair was like the dog house, she hated it

She begged Mavvy as he walked by to serve hot rotis

"Hum bahar nikal lein inko?" Mavvy begged on her behalf

"BILQUL nahi" II shouted

"Beta" Ranjan's turn

"EK second hua hoga, usne raita banaya, EK HAATH maara isne...
she broke the bowl!! there is still strings of cucumber falling off the ceiling" II spoke bluntly

R&B couldnt help but smile
When II pointed to the ceiling Sahana looked up   and explained what she did in one of the MANY languages she spoke

Ranjan burst out laughing, walking over to her high chair rescuing her

She was now wearing a orange KANJEEVARAM LEHANGA and a green blouse with flowers strungs between her two fat fountains
Ranjan had clothed her, II just shook her head

Left to the men in the house the daughters will always be "dressed up"

He carried a super grateful Sahana in his arms back to his chair and handed her scrap of roti

"Niice try old man"   "But no thanks" "I want that greasy gravy u are having" she explained

She dropped the roti

"Main keh rahi hoon aapko, usko aapke plate ke oopar baithke subzi se nahana hai" II explained cynically

Ranjan was fine he dabbed his spoon and dabbed her tongue she sucked in audibly enjoying the taste

"Kutti papa likes spicy food" Nivi said softly

II smiled fondly... "She is a monster!!" "U are an angel"

R&B chuckled

"Bhayya Amma ka phone aaya?" she asked Mahavir wondering if the twins ate at home

They were really hard to feed, she was sympathetic towards her parents


"Aisi gallan karegi isne chale jaana hai aur waaps lekar aana hai" Ranjan warned

II looked ashamed and nodded

"SULAH di koi ummeed haigi nahi haigi?" he scolded

II  didnt look up at her FIL
R&B did instead boldly but didnt speak

"Tum dono kab sudhrogey?" he accused

Nivi realized Dadu was scolding Amma she ate quietly

Sahan tipped Ranjan's water, followed by his raita bowl AGAIN... as she reached for a carrot slice

"Hum pakaden kyaa?" Mavvy offered

"Na na main theek haan" Ranjan hugged the blob of fat

"Le ja isko Vandata ke ghar, sair pe... Amma sair pe leke jaayegi tujhe" he told Sahana

Sahana knew ONE word "sair" thats it it sent her into a tizzy

She waved her arms and legs... her orange and green bangles hardly moving on her chunky wrist

"Its bed time for Akka.. Shravu aaya  hai" II said sadly

She was jealous of Akka's life now
Almost grown kids, no sore boobs no diapers lots of sex... sigh!!

AS II fought with... II Sahana had caused more damage, spilling juice over her lehanga

they never yelled or scolded

"Can I watch the Harry Poter movie with Dadu?" Nivi asked earnestly

R&B quickly looked at II
She refused to agree or disagree

Ranjan walked over after dinner to her as she relaxed in the 2nd floor living room, on his couch flipping Tamil channels

He was in his office working as Sahana rolled in the play pen a few feet away

" I dont want to talk about it" she warned Ranjan

"beta gal sun" he urged

"He hates my Appa nothing u are goingt o say is going to change that" II sulked

"Tch tch tch... no beta" Ranjan lied "He doesnt"

"He thinks his kids shud have nothing to do with him" II choked up

"Its natural for a man not to agree with his in laws" "Its natural for a parent to hate the man that takes his daughter away" Ranjan explained

"My Appa doesnt hate Athim" II said primly

"But he doesnt like R&B" Ranjan offered

II nodded furiously

Ranjan smiled

"What does that tell u?" Ranjan helped her
"It tells me HE HATES APPA" Ii said


"NO He is not doing all this because he wants me or loves me" II spoke hotly


"I AM BETTING U Dad he is going to go bring the twins home. IF he does that..." II sucked her breath in

R&B walked out before Ranjan could respond to hand a screaming Sahana

Her jasmine string hung loose on one end
she saw her dadu and waved hoping for a "sair" at 11:30 PM
Ranjan took her

"Ek sair kara laaoon?" he begged

"U must be kidding" II said sternly

Ranjan got up and yawned...

"Main chhod deta hoon usko school mujhe Sam ke ghar jaana hai" he offered

II smiled with gratitude

R&B sat down and waited until she fed Sahana and took her to go put her to bed

II spent the night on his fave couch

An outing on foot to the market left the boys

Excited and thrilled as their Daddee  was of  peaks

The terrors visualized themselves as modern day Mowglies

Crates and trollies were all they they got

Instead of branches and vines

mother dairy was ransacked

Their Tatha the center of attention

Claim he did that they were his daughters

Though he shared with his wife  his secret wish they weren't!

absolutely adorable and crushable they were

Stole the hearts of women in an instant

Unknown women and Amma  salvaged the boys from further mishap

The moment of power when the boys happily walked with him,

He gloated and had thrilled that he gave them delights that were denied

 The Iyers feared the plight of the warrior princess

She faced every moment the trio's onslaught

They were in awe and  sensed a  fear  when the thought of RB crept in!

They were amused and loved the boys and adored the Angel to core and of course dreaded the youngest

Of course his personality - his ability to do as he wished

The way he thought and and act as he desired were stamped in the DNA of the boys

Amnesia affected Appa of course thought his daughter was innocence personified. 

 

Dono Ariyal hain. Maanenge nahin. Is chakkar mein II will suffer, because RB is steadfast in his smug belief that she will come around and therefore doesn't do much to manao...well he does it in his own way but it always seems as if it's the other person whose begging for attention...so damn clever he is.

But as it is visible this was 1000th update so congrats to all sosy fans

Sahana is a vinegarized cucumber herself. 😛 . She is spicy 😆 .

The boys for all the naughtiness are still ok I feel, and sahana! Boy! She might be a tough one even for the dude 😆
