CONFIRMED: Mohit Raina to play Emperor Ashoka in Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat!

Mohit will be seen playing Emperor Ashoka in the serial Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat which will be taking a leap of 12 years. Mohit, who will start shooting for the show from March 20, will make an entry in April.

Mohit Raina who has been missing in action since Devon Ke Dev Mahadev went off air, will be back on TV soon. He will be seen playing Emperor Ashoka in the serial Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat which will be taking a leap of 12 years. Mohit, who will start shooting for the show from March 20, will make an entry in April.
A source says that it was his mother who insisted that he take up the show. "She loves the historical and when Mohit got the offer she was the one who persuaded him to do it." Meanwhile, the role of Susima, Ashoka's brother and the antagonist, will be played by Ankit Arora who was recently seen in Razia Sultan.
Mohit who had played Lord Shiva got an immense fan following and became extremely popular after the show. So we are sure you guys must be really excited to see the TV hottie yet again as Samrat Ashoka.

Mohit Raina to make a comeback to TV as Lead of Ashoka

The news of Colors' Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat (Contiloe) taking a leap has been doing rounds in the media for quite some time.

The show which reached Himalayan height with little wonder Siddharth Nigam playing the titular role is now all set to welcome many new actors.

And while we will be bidding a sad adieu to Siddharth, another big name is all set to step into his shoes.

Yes, handsome and talented actor Mohit Raina of Mahadev fame is all geared up to play the grown up Ashoka now.

A source shares with us, "Many popular actors have been considered for the role so far. But the makers in all probabilities will finalize Mohit for the role. Though the contract is yet to be signed, Mohit has the strongest chance of getting locked for the project".

Mohit Raina may play King Ashoka in Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat

Tellydhamaal had recently reported that Bigg Boss 9 fame Rishabh Sinha had been approached to essay the lead role of Ashoka in Colors historical drama Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat.

Currently, the show features child actor Siddharth Nigam playing the titular role. However, soon the show will take a leap and Siddharth Nigam would exit from the show and casting for grown up Ashoka is in progress.

Now as per latest reports handsome and talented actor Mohit Raina of Mahadev fame is all geared up to play the grown up Ashoka now.

According to a source, "Many popular actors have been considered for the role so far. But the makers in all probabilities will finalize Mohit for the role. Though the contract is yet to be signed, Mohit has the strongest chance of getting locked for the project".

Mohit who became a godly' personality with an immense fan following as Mahadev, surely has the looks and aura to play a warrior prince. The same role has been essayed by Shah Rukh Khan on the big screen.

When contacted Mohit shared, "Yes talks are on but I am not in a position to comment on it at the moment."

Contiloe Telefilms', Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat has been successfully, entertaining viewers with its interesting storyline and extraordinary performances. The show will soon head for the most anticipated generation leap. Siddharth Nigam, who is doing a splendid, job as young Ashoka, will make way for the grown-up character.

Hunt to play the new King Ashoka has begun. Names of popular actors being approached for the show is doing the rounds. Sources close to the channel inform us, the makers are in talks with Mohit Raina, Sidharth Shukla and Rishabh Sinha to play the grown-up Ashoka.

When contacted, Sidharth Shukla said, "No comments."

But Ashoka is crap show now...It's no more historical but 100 % fiction show

I hope MR will not select this one for comeback...And This will be same genre for him comparing to DKDM.

I am waiting for his another inning after ending of DKDM on 14 Th Dec 2014 But as a regular watcher of Ashoka...I am frustrated with show and my Favorite MR in CAS ?!!!

BUT I have to accept if he will choose it and will watch for him

Let's see ...what will finalize

😊😊The best choice for the role of Ashoka indeed.Mohit would definitely nail it,but hope they improve the contents of the show.Anyway, I am glad that he is making a come back.😃
