Taking a few verses of advice from your passage I went out and "splurged" on a new hair cut
It was FREE actually
Someone someplace decided we have moved in new (I have lived in this house nearly 20 years๐)
and sent us a bunch of "new neighbor" coupons to use
One of them was a Aveda salon hair cut offer
I set up an appointment and got my very first EVER decent hair cut
I asked the gal to "go for it"
She did a fantastic job
She gave me a side parting, and straightened my afro like hair frizz
A fringe... all for MUFT... MUFT MUFT...
I tipped her $10 and bought a $10 raffle ticket for some "Earth Month" cause
If I win I get $1200 in free Aveda products she said
Me lou free
I dont win anything yeh aur baat hai
Pretty good morning...
Made me happy... "We can only do the best to stay happy with what we have"
I am hoping i did that
๐ every woman deserves a great hair cut as you get to my age you realise that there's only this Mug you can do with all that thinning hair .. I love springy curly hair. But the important thing is that you came away feeling happy. That's all it is I believe is important not what you actually did to your hair ๐
I leave tomorrow for 3-4 weeks and I'm sleepless tonight. Missing my closure with Asma - I'm sure she will call or leave a message so I'm hanging by.
College admissions story was ludicrous. The sheer arrogance that people display astounds me. I feel like asking them - imagine you lose your wallet, your passport and your luggage in a foreign country where you don't speak the language? what are you then?? Someone dependent on another's understanding and kindness be that all the time and the world will feel like your home. I have seen some of the happiest faces in refugee camps and some of the most scathing tongues in board meetings. Never enough for mans greed is there? Success does not guarantee happiness or Long life.
