Tuesday to thursday was quite stressful for her as Paakh wanted the preliminary "creative theme" from McKinsey & Morrison, to beat a supposed launch by a rival Essence (of nature)
Between trying to let go of her daughter and commuting from Trans Yamuna at 1 PM Suvechha dropped multiple balls
She loved advertizing and PR she was good at the creative stuff, her Aai had suggested she must try out some other creative things to see if she could extend the spark
These days Suvi wished she had an outlet, singing or playing the sitar or something
Would take the bite out of being lonely
She considered having Aadhya do something instead, for now
She didnt have unlimited supply of money
She lived in a rental and cared for two people
Now and then Rutwik's acquaintance from Mumbai would call or text her to get a "feel" for where she was so they could come "see" her
She would give each person a different location
She was not on social media either, what began as an exercise to flee Rutwik some how stuck after she moved to Delhi
She was not high enough on McKinsey's org chart to have her name plastered on their Delhi website

Telling herself the useless chit chat doesnt change anything and he will still be her boss And there is nothing beyond that
Tai was "fasting" she was told
So she made poha and got her daughter ready and they headed out at Noon in the burning heat
Aadhya was wearing a sleeveless floral cotton frock, her arms were red like a apple, sunburned in the first 10 minutes of walkingt o find a auto
"Aai can we go in a car?" Aadhya begged
"U have rich people needs" she scolded her daughter
Suvi was not broke, hardly, she was extremely careful with her money
But considering Delhi summers lasted 8 months, the AC was always on at home and her bill was large enough to seem like a car loan payment

She paused and pulled Suvi's cotton hat out of her bag, just when she found an auto, it felt like sitting by an open furnace door
The heat was intense
they got to school and wandered, Suvi met her teachers, looked at the "art work" she did posted on the wall
Checked how the bathrooms were
Suvi had two friends, they chased each other in the hallway outside the class
Parents jostled and lingered in the hallway, meeting up, making friends
The woman that checked on her on Monday when she cried against the wall smiled and greeted her
She heard a loud scream and a crash, Suvi had fallen off her chair tearing the skin on her knee
The teacher wasnt too hapy
She wasnt a crazy girl... atleast based on what she was told by the play school owner
But Apeejay was causing her to explore her wild side?
She cried as the first aid box was brought out
Suvi carried her out scolding her softly in Marathi
"Thank God u didnt get blood on your good frock... u need to calm down" "What will the teacher think of you?"
Nihar spotted Aadhya and walked over
"what happened?"
"She fell" Suvi explained
He just stared at her face and knee
Seeing him Aadhya no longer wanted to be carried, she stood or tried to and fell backwards
Hitting her head on the wall in a lil bump
Neel came up as parents walked by chatting
"She is HURT" Nihar informed
"Abhi theek hai" Suvi explained
"Can she come to my house?" Nihar asked
Neel looked startled but thot it was a great idea

Aadhya whine and moaned
"We are done too, so may be for a bit?" Neel asked
"Hamey chalna chahiye, paas ke society mein satsang hai Tai ko jaana hai" she said
"Aaai, PLEASE PLEASEEE phakta eka vela... (just one time) Aadhya begged

She was amazed how he could recreate Nupur's vision in Delhi long after she was gone
The kids were sitting on the sofa playing on Nihar's ipad
"Paani dein aapko?" he asked politely, disappearing into the back room
He brought out water and juice
"Thanks... abhi humko chalna chahiye" "Doc khula hua to ATS ka pata karna hai" she said
There were pictures everywhere, on the walls on the chest of drawers, and on the sofa end tables
She wasnt there, but yet she was
"Kal raat ko kaafi busy theen aap?" he asked
She looked confused
"Text ka jawab nahi diya?" he asked leaning on a chest of drawer drinking his bottle of water, like he waited for her to respond to the text about changing after school programs
"jyaada busy nahi" she said calmly... unwilling to meet his injured? gaze, for the first time she felt a sudden churn in her lower belly
