My first impromptu act | |
On the day of our farewell party at school, a few students backed out of the play we were supposed to perform for our teachers. During this desperate time, all eyes turned to me, because even back then, everyone knew I was a big nautanki. I loved being a part of anything that wasn't related to academics. So, after a gruelling session of emotional blackmail and bribery, I found myself all alone and unprepared on stage. I began with a song to warm up the audience, and somehow got the courage to mimic my teachers! There was a thunderous round of applause following my first impromptu act. As told to Kanika Parab |
