I expected Anandi to be a good mother as well as a good father for Shivam and Nandini after Shiv's death. Sadly she failed as a mother itself leave father alone. But if we see, till now Jagya played a role somewhat close to father in Shivam and Nandini's life. I think he will continue like this.

Usually when a child loses his/her father paternal/maternal grandfather or uncle fulfill the duties. If the mother is strong and independent she herself does all this. Already Anandi's capabilities are clear and I'm not against Jagya looking after Shiv's kids. Someone has to do it but the sad thing is despite having a great grand father, two sets of grand parents, and an uncle (Mahi) these kids have to live an unusual life under the care of their mother's ex-husband and family.

Thank god they at least have Jagya and family's support! If it is only Anandi we know how terrible their life would be.

## Anandi is not a bad mother
How did you figure that out.

That fact that she lost Nandani as her work has a social work is well documented and argued on this forum so don't go there.

Shivam is a well balanced and intelligent boy. At the moment not being told the truth and being brainwashed by Mangala does not help.
He is jealous like child would be.

So what makes her bad mother. ..

Jagya didn't choose to play any role in Anandi's kids' lives but he was put in that situation, and he has played his role well..

It is also sad that post leap, Anandi hardly has contribution to the story or to the lives of her loved ones. She is all over the place, being reduced to a show piece or cardboard cut out.

I feel Shiv's absence a lot.

There is some delicious irony here. They were supposed to be together and have their own kids. But that did not happen. Jagya does not mind doing something for anandi's kids.

Anandi Shiv's children are growing upto be like Anandi and Shiv.
Shivam who has never seen his father wants to grow up to be like the man that his father has been and Nandini even though she was brought up by someone so different from Anandi and grew up in a terrible place is very much like her mother.

Jagya can never be a father to Anandi's children nor is he a father figure. The role he is playing in Anandi's Shiv's childrens' life is a role that would have been played by Shiv's brother Mahi.

Anandi's son is quite happy with all the love and care that he gets from his mother so does her daughter though she doesn't know that Anandi is her mother and she wants her mother to be like CC and that should tell enough and more about Anandi's mothering skills despite the problems they are faced.
Shivam is a well adjusted kid doing well for himself in school as well as extra curricular activities and obviously his mother pays him a lot of attention. He is upset because some stranger is getting the same kind of love and affection that he is getting which never happened before.
He never had to share his mother with anyone till now.
Nandini also will get the same kind of life which is happy and secure the moment she gets to know the truth.

All this clearly tells that Anandi is a good mother.Only thing that is lacking in their lives is that they don't have a father a situation Anandi cannot change.

Jagya is a father figure only to Shivam... so far, he never got a chance to be like a father to nimboli.
If shivam says he wants to be like his father, that does not mean jagya had no influence over him or that he was not like a father to him... He was very much like a father during shivam's growing up days.

Regarding nimboli, she has no father-figure, but Mangala was a mother-figure to her... if the girl is a nice, cheerful, helpful and kind girl, the credit goes to the one who raised her, that is Mangala (not anandi).

If shivam is cheerful because his mother gave him love and attention, then nimboli is cheerful because mangala gave her attention and love.

Mangala was not like what she is now... she was indeed a mother to the child.

Shivam is a brat - he does not regard others like himself. And he was happy till he faced no problem - and when he faced minor problem - his mother paying attention to some random girl - he started badmouthing the girl.

@ Bold But he saved Nimboli from Akheraj. Isn't it? If Shiv was alive he would have done the same for her i.e protect her from all dangers. He is running behind every time to rescue her. Of course being father is more than all this. But still we can say he is in that direction.
