A foochar part bug bit me
I had a really bad start today
Nothing went right, 8 year old woke up coughing at 5 AM!!!my laptop powercord died, unable to connect to work, called tech support, cudnt figure out,
rushed to take a shower and get out so I can go publish a report before the 8 AM meeting, the water in the shower was stone cold, rush to work at 7:20
Cant find my badge after I park the car, go up, and try to pull the report together
All the pivot table formulas errored out
Anyway...
The day went great, evening was quiet and relaxing, scrubbing the couch with my butt
Home now... curled up on the couch...

She lay like a worn out rag, throwing up, all morning long.
He had the twins following him room to room, they both were unprepared for the FOURTH
But FOURTH it was going to be...😳
She was really sick, he wanted to make pasta from scratch, and sauce, he wanted to make a quick run to Modern Bazar
Evenings were better for her, she ate a lott famished...
She starved all day...
the twins were just 3, only she understood what they said
They adored Ranjan and wanted to be lifted at the same time
Nivi was 8 3/4, he recalled how II was stressed she "couldnt have a second"
From being "DONT U DARE TOUCH ME WITHOUT PROTECTION"
To calling him the night she got her period each month
It didnt matter to her if he was in Paris two or three months in a row, missing three cycles but she called
And then the twins
EXTREMELY naughty, and damn cute
He couldnt believe how identical they were.
From the back he could never tell, Sid had a tiny mole on his ear lobe on his right ear
II got them bowl cuts and many times dressed them in similar clothes
Blue jeans and red plaid with suspenders
Their hair thick falling over their ears, she would pick one up crushing the cheek with her lips
"CUUUTIEEE" she would coo "SIDDHUUU" she wud say
The lil guy would chuckle
"I am WAY- DAMT Amma"
She would coo, chuckling
They followed her everywhere, or they followed Ranjan
Ranjan had quit working at home, they didnt let him
He went through THREE IMACS
They broke a bunch of artifacts (author forgot spelling) around the house
they slid down the banister as Ranjan and Mahavir got a heart attack
They wanted to open the giant gates whenever the guards called on the intercom announcing a visitor
They stayed up every night until Ranjan came home
He gave up when they turned a year and a half, and returned promptly at 5 or 6
They followed him from room to room, sometimes secretly sometimes visibly he paused, froze and turned around, they hid behind curtains
He pretended to not know walking out to the 1st floor lounge or his study or to his ground floor bedroom, they would sneak up and hide in which ever room he was
He always panicked they would suffocate in teh folds of those massive silk curtains and lining, so Mavvy was the spy that kept an eye on them
They wouldnt seek II out for hours
One was nursed until the 14th month, Sid,
Ved, decided he was done before 1 year... hurting II a lot
She took EVERYTHING as a rejection, he realized, two weeks after Nivi was born
THAT lesson stayed
She called him one night in Paris, sobbing
I didnt nurse him ALL day, and he doesnt wnat ANY now" she sobbed uncontrollably
"Hes FINE... its like I dont even exist"
"What abt Ved?" he asked softly
"I LOVE HIM, HE ACTUALLY NEEDS ME. Until this rascal gets to him, then he wont" II sniffled and giggled
"they dont hate you II" he said confidently
"HOW do u know?" she asked angrily
"Because they try to say Amma remember?" he reminded
She groaned
"they sleep SOOO CUTELY da" she cried again
"Where is Nivi?"
"Thatha and her are watching Home Alone" she giggled
"II, YOU are going to be fine"
"Saying that gets you off the hook, so yeah" she grumbled
"No it doesnt... I will get there in 2 weeks" he promised
"Sid will probably be ready for college and getting driving lessons" II declared
He laughed, until he lost his breath he recalled

"Lets go to a store" he whispered, picking both up.
"Nivi ka?" Sid asked
"Nivi ka AS WELL" he chuckled
"THATHA?" Ved asked
"Umm... sure" R&B nodded amused
"Mavy Uncle?" Sid said
He laughed heartily... and nodded
"Aam pwashak Uncle?" Ved offered
Aam pwashak, was Ram Prakash, a TALL beefy 6 foot guard at the guard booth
"Umm... no we dont need guns at the store" he explained
""Bishooom" Sid fired with his index finger
"Noo... noo.. we dont wnat to do that" he was shocked
WHERE he got the idea to mimic a gun
II watched their hobbies like a guard
"Play school perhaps?" he wondered
He went up and checked on her
She was asleep, but she stirred, when Sid yelled
"Amma.. tore polom" (store porom in Tamil means, we are going to the store)
II woke and sat up, kissing him on his cheek
"Nivi kootindu poreay?" she asked weakly (are u taking her?)
Her, the grand dad, mavvy, the guard, and the odd jobs guy fixing the barbed wire fence, and Dhyan" he chuckled
"WHYYY?" Ii asked shocked, unaware
"Well... they want to go as a group"
He bend down and kissed her on her lips
"OK?" he asked
"I hope its a girl" she whispered, wrapping her arms around his neck pulling him down. "A NAUGHTY, FEISTY girl" II said smugly
"I do too" he kissed her again...
"Amma sickk?" Ved looked really sad
