Maddy has more potential.. I like Mayal because Maddy would die to do anything for her. He is probably not that entertaining
for you maybe because Gautam Gupta is doing two shows right now (yeah he's so
talented and hot that he is juggling with two shows... and he professionally did not quit the other one even though in MATSH he is not a lead... he could've easily quit but he chose to stick with MATSH show too), and they aren't giving him enough screen space. The actor of Raj irks me... For the reasons I have stated above with the accent and much more, I can just rant but I don't want to waste my time on him, the actor just can't act. I'm sure Maddy's character will be more interesting when they give him more screen space, if Koyal and Maddy get married... there is a line up of different things that can happen, as for Raj I don't think he has much to offer other than irking me with his accents, and saying "Meri Koyal, or Apne Raj" a hundred times, and having spit all up in his mouth when he is crying or screaming...
Madhavan is not an underdog in the story... he is a hero... he solves everything, and gets nothing in return.
Even if Barun Sobti played Raj I would still hate the character... I just can't stand the character or the actor, and I am a diehard fan of IPKKND, and Barun Sobti.
Gautam's smile just brightens up my whole day, I think Gautam is the cutest... no matter what people say.
I would like to know what is so entertaining about Raj, what did he do so far, other than
- Flirt with girls
- Be careless
- Randomly out of nowhere say he loves Koyal and it was all for her (Which totally contradicts his character from the start... and ruins the whole point of having that character)
- Mispronounce Hindi and Punjabi.. he can do neither accent properly (Not even the cast that plays his family can get the accents right) ****THIS MAKES ME CRINGE 🤢
- Fight Maddy when he wanted the best for both his friends(Which by the way I think is cute every time Maddy grabs his collar... I think this happened 2 times. I think our "Kick-Boxing Champion" wins the fight, right?) and then depend on Maddy to somehow come and magically fix it... yes the same Maddy he blamed Koyal for being with. I did not see any apology scene after that for Maddy... and Maddy still stood by him.
Maddy's character brings out the cute scenes (I still haven't forgotten him calling goons "sir") feelings of an introvert, good guy who just wants the best for the person he loves. Gautam Gupta portrays it very cutely and perfectly. I can just imagine cute scenes between Koyal and Maddy if the wedding happens. Oh my God... I should start writing fanfictions on them... back to the topic--- He knows Koyal was Koyal when she was covering herself but Raj who claims to "love" her too couldn't get it. He fixes everything even when he gets nothing in return...
This character is going to bring way more to this show than any other character... I just hope EK brings Mayal together.. so that he can be shown more, and we can see the character grow.
Raj is a confused character...who loves acting but suddenly loves Koyal... and suddenly does nothing to fulfil his dreams because "suddenly" (Just because Koyal say she loves him... even though he supposedly "knew" earlier) can't do anything without seeing her...He does not come out as an extrovert.. he comes out as a clown and a person who only messes up... clean up your act Raj, no one wants to become "the mom" of the person they love.
I think Surya (not a lead character) has more potential than him.
