In today's epi I could understand in a better fashion why Meher did what she did. She knew about the pregnancy post her divorce.
And even when they were married Abeer was not ready for a baby. Now post divorce if she told about pregnancy there was high chance Kuber, Taiji and even Abeer doing a character assassination. That the child doesn't belong to Abeer. They have been living separately for some time etc etc..Meher at that time was alone, unemployed and in a society which does not treat single unwed mother kindly.
Suman survived because there is no question on the paternity of Meher and Tunnu. Still she faces flaks from people, but for Meher in a situation where Abeer and his family unwilling to accept the paternity things would have been difficult. So she has decided to hide and that story is yet to unfold on how Akshat came into the picture for saving her honor at that time. So it was a fear of society combined with her need to move ahead in life made Meher take that choice at that time. And once that choice is made she cannot go back to revealing the truth now.
Now Abeer, I loved the way Ishaan made him run around. The child is really headstrong like him, but is not Badhameez. I would say Ishaan has got the best of both his parents. He has feet on the ground like his mom. He asks the right questions, which leaves Abeer perplexed and in anger. Because it is the first time someone is questioning him, challenging him and getting away with. It was fun to watch Abeer-Ishaan scene.
But what I hated was the words Abeer used for the child and then Akshat. The child has seen his mother crying and then thought the man responsible for it should be taught a lesson. 7 year old doesn't understand the complex relations. Instead of trying to understand the relation Abeer literally abused Akshat telling if he cant take care of his child why he is producing them. I am not surprised Akshat gave back. Anyone will give back for such a comment. And it was good that he showed restraint enough for all the abuses hurled from shouting Ishaan is your son. I would really like to see Abeer's face when he knows the truth of Ishaan.
Instead of going after Akshath with his next plan it would be better Abeer concentrates on his job, on Ishaan. He will get his Meher back.
