$$$$$*$$$$$What's the one factor that celebs consider when buying their dream home?
Divyanka Tripathi:
When
I bought my house, the most important factor that I kept in mind was
the ambience. I was always very particular about the air ventilation. In
Mumbai, there is always dearth of greenery, so I got this home in
Goregaon from where I can see a lush green playground. Also the area
where I stay in is easily accessible from most of the studios. It saves
me a lot of time while travelling to work. I am also impressed by the
security in my society.

TV actor
Divyanka Tripathi went through a tough patch recently, when her
nineyear-old relationship with actor Ssharad Malhotra came to an end.
However, despite the break up, the 30-year-old continued to shoot for
her hit TV show. Now, four months later, she talks about her take on
love, and how much she enjoys being single.
Post the break up, has your take on love changed?
I
am still a hard-core romantic. I am waiting for the right person, who
wants my love. I am meant to get married (laughs). I realised my worth
post break up. I have changed as a person. I really believe that some
things happen for a reason, and they make you a better person. Today, I
am more independent, and I am happy being myself. I have realised that
life is not about being in a relationship, but living the way you want
to.
Are you planning to settle down soon?
When
I broke up, my parents became hyper, and asked if they could look for a
marriage proposal for me. But with time, they have come to accept
things. I don't want to jump into marriage right now. I want to find a
person who wants me. I am single, and ready to mingle.
Rumours suggest that you are dating a Chinese restaurateur...
These
reports are false. They might have come up, as he is part of my friends
circle, and we hang out often. I would not like his name to be dragged
into a link-up. He's a good friend. Earlier, I didn't have friends, so I
am happy to make new friends. I feel liberated. I want to go on an
expedition, try trekking, and even do a travel show.
Are you willing to date an actor now, or would you prefer a non-industry person?
In
relationships, you cannot decide [your partner's] a profession. He
could be from any walk of life. Right now, I am slightly sceptical of
actors, but I believe in never say never.
Have you met Ssharad post your break up?
No, I haven't.

$$$$$*$$$$$Divyanka Tripathi's popularity quotient rises

recently crossed 2,50,000 followers on Instagram and on this special
occasion, a group of her fans surprised her on the sets of "Yeh Hai
Mohabbattein". Since she crossed the number 250 (in the thousands), they
gifted her 250 chocolates, a bouquet of 250 roses and even wrote a book
in exactly 2,50,000 words.
People present on the set said, "There was a huge collage with 250 of
her pictures. The pictures were from all her shows and some of them
from her personal life. Since she is hooked to green tea for health
reasons, she was also gifted 250 sachets of her favourite green tea. Her
fans seem to be people from all age groups and all of them seem to be
truly excited meeting her favourite star. Divyanka as always was very
sweet towards her fans. She spoke to them and on their request got

$$$$$*$$$$$Happy Parents' Day: TV actors talk about their parents
Divyanka Tripathi:
My parents are my best
friends, my inspiration and my motivation to be good. They have been
strict in my formative years (and I thank them for that!), but they have
been lenient and understanding when needed. From my parents I have
learnt the importance of Karma. I have grown up to be patient and a
family oriented person.

$$$$$*$$$$$TOI:Divyanka Tripathi denies rumors of dating a Restaurateur
When
people have an ugly breakup, often they want to stay away from the
opposite sex and the concept of love but not Divyanka Tripathi.
'Ishita', aka Divyanka Tripathi, of '
Ye HaiMohabbatein'
had an ugly breakup early this year. She was dating Ssharad Tripathi
and was supposed to get married early this year. But things did not pan
out as planned.
But Divyanka has not lost hope in the prospect
of finding someone who can love and appreciate her. There was a rumor
floating in the media circuit about the actress dating a restaurateur,
but in a recent interview Divyanka rubbishes the news and claims that he
is just a friend.
Talking on the subject, Divyanka said, "I am
very much single and ready to mingle." But she is not so sure about
dating an actor again. While her parents were worried about her future
and wanted to start looking for a suitable groom for her, they've now
decided to wait and let their dear daughter take time to decide. The
breakup has changed Divyanka as a person, and she is now looking forward
to someone who is worth her love.
With the current success and
all the support she is getting, we doubt Divyanka will find it too
difficult to find the right person.

Do you like the earthly fragrance after the rains?
I absolutely love it. No scent can be more romantic than the fragrance which fills the atmosphere after the rains.
Any memorable moment of paper boats in childhood?
We
used to release the paper boats in the lake water and then would wait to
see, who's boat survives the waves and lasts the longest in the lake.
As the rain pours, what would you like to gorge upon?
The
bread rolls that my Mumma makes during the rains and unfortunately gone
are the days of Maggi or else even it used to be my favourite monsoon
delicacy.
Have you ever danced in rains?
Oh Yes. In fact, we used to carry a portable stereo system with us outside to enjoy it all the more.
When was the last time you got drenched?
I just need an excuse to get drench and I got drenched so many times
that I don't even remember, when was the last time. (Laughs)
Which song you humm when it's raining?
My favourite rain numbers are - Lagi aaj saawan ki phir woh ladi hai, Piya Basanti re and Ye zameen ruk jaaye.

$$$$$*$$$$$Who Made 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' Actress Divyanka Tripathi Proud?
- | Updated: August 7, 2015 16:44 IST
Divyanka TripathiDivyanka Tripathi / Instagram
"Yeh
Hai Mohabbatein" actress Divyanka Tripathi's career is on a high at
present, and so it's difficult to gauge what exactly would be her
"moment of pride".
The leading TV actress is extremely proud of
her mother, Neelam Tripathi, who reportedly delivered a Bharata Natyam
performance at the age of 50 under the guidance of Guru Lata Singh Munshi.
"When
I was a kid, my mother used to take me to Bharat Natyam classes,
Rabindra Sangeet classes, get me ready for my performances. Now, I am
here to watch her perform. It was a wonderful feeling doing her makeup,
touch-up today," Divyanka told HT city (Bhopal).
She
also opined that a woman shouldn't give up on her dreams after having a
child, adding how her mother pursued her passion even after she was
content with her kids' careers.
"I have seen women
forgetting their dreams and passion after child birth. When my mother
was satisfied with our careers, she started reliving her passion. Even
my father is very supportive of it," she further elaborated.
In
other news, Divyanka's show is gearing up for a couple of interesting
episodes in which Ishita (Divyanka) and Raman (Karan Patel) will be seen
consummating their marriage. While the fans of the show are thrilled
about the upcoming track, they are not too pleased with the reports of
Shagun (Anita Hassanandani) turning into a surrogate mother for the
couple's baby.

TV actresses talk about the safety aspect on the sets
Divyanka Tripathi from 'Ye Hai Mohabbatein'
Entering a new makeup room always gives me jitters. I make sure that I
look around for anything suspicious. I have my spot boy make sure that
curtains are not see-through and if all the locks are intact. I don't
let random people enter my room once I occupy it.

Divyanka Tripathi: People Thought I Was Nude In My Consummation Scene
In an exclusive chat with 9xe.com, the Yeh Hai Mohabbatein actress speaks her mind out
Divyanka
Tripathi's is a story of triumph over emotional crisis, a story of a
woman's dreams handholding her out of a terrible break-up from a
decade-old relationship. The actress, who is back in the spotlight with
Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, pours her heart out to
9xe.com.
Your second innings is going pretty well with Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. Had you expected this? No.
It's all a surprise because we started off with practically no
expectations. I thought it's just another show with Ekta Kapoor and Star
Plus. They were teaming up after really long, so I knew the show has
some promise despite the 11 pm slot. We waited for a year before going
on floors because Star Plus didn't have slots. They opened up the 11 pm
slot for us, and today it's part of prime time.
Why did you take a sabbatical after your first show, Banoo Main Teri Dulhan?I
had sustained back injuries while shooting Dulhan. So, I took a
year-long break to rest my back. Then Mr. And Mrs. Sharma Allahabadwale
came my way. I worked in two more comedy shows and then sat home for a
year again before I got Yeh Hai Mohabbatein.
What do you think went wrong?I
came without a mentor and ended up making a lot of mistakes. I wasn't
diplomatic and didn't know how to map my career. Besides, no one wanted
to cast Tulsi, Parvati and Vidya in another role besides what they were
famous for. So many producers have told me that your character in Dulhan
is so famous that we can't repeat you; it won't work for the show. I
was almost finalised for so many shows and then dropped for the sake of a
new face.
Go on...After doing Mr. And Mrs. Sharma
Allahabadwale, I was stereotyped as a comic heroine. So, no one thought
of casting me in a daily show. And then Ekta Kapoor's imagination
worked!
Who stood by you during this tough phase? My
parents stood by me, though they were shuttling between Bhopal and
Mumbai. Rajesh Kumar was there to guide me. And of course, there was
Ssharad (Malhotra), who I was dating then.
Do you talk to Ssharad now?No. I don't.
Can you forgive him for leaving you emotionally drained?I don't want to talk about that.
Aren't your parents pressurising you to get married now?No,
but they are worried. Now that I am single again, they care more for
me. My father calls me every night to check on me. That troubles me
because I can understand there are many things on their mind.
Are you wary of getting into another relationship again?I'm
a hardcore romantic but I am little guarded when I talk to anyone now. I
am scared of even talking to boys. Kahin dhokha to nahi ho jayega -
that thought plays on loop. Anyway, I am not in a hurry to date or
marry. I'll take my own sweet time to find the right guy and then,
eventually think of settling down.
Has the break-up made you a better person or worse? It's
difficult to come out of a relationship but I have come out of it, and
as a stronger person. I'm now the Divyanka I used to be 10 years ago.
I'm once again talkative, adventurous and positive but I don't let my
guard down.
Men must have made advances as soon as your break-up became public?Lots
of advances...I suddenly had single men texting me and I'd wonder what
happened to them. Why are they so concerned? I knew it was not the right
time to respond to any of them.
TV shows are fast becoming
bold, especially with their romantic scenes. Sakshi Tanwar's scenes with
Ram Kapoor in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, for instance. Don't you think?I
love how she has carried herself so far. She gets into the skin of her
character. And bold is just a word which people use to categorise a
scene. Doesn't a woman sleep with her husband? Don't they make babies
like that? It's natural. If I'm convinced that a scene is required for
the story to move forward, I'll do it.
Recently, your consummation scene was quite a hit. What were the reactions? It
was the 7.30 pm slot, so, it had to be toned down. But even that got me
a lot of flak. I was wearing an off- shoulder gown. I slipped its
sleeve beneath my arms so it looked like a bare shoulder and put a
blanket on top. People were ranting on social media, questioning me how I
could go nude for a scene. I asked them what made them think that I was
nude. It was just a suggestive scene. But I think many were also
disappointed because they wanted to see more.
Did you have fewer people on sets for shooting that scene?Yes,
I had kicked out people from the sets. You know when we're shooting
such scenes, the crowd multiplies, so much so that we can sell tickets
and make money. I asked the director to keep a small team for that scene
because artistes need that freedom to work. No one wants people ogling
at them and judging them.
Yeh Hai Mohabbatein has helped you become friends with Ekta, right?I adore and respect her.
What's your equation with Karan Patel, your co-star? Rumours have it that you two don't get along...Karan
is a moody person but a wonderful actor. We have a decent rapport.
Kabhi kabhi hum dono ek doosre se naakhush hote hain but we have stayed
professional on sets. We've never fought at work.
Apparently, he abused you over the phone. True?He
never abused me; he has always been courteous. I had heard so much
about him before we started working. So, I decided to speak to him and
break the ice. When we spoke, he told me that he has left his door open
for me to walk in and check with him instead of believing hearsay. And
vice versa. We don't let faltu talks interfere with our work.

$$$$$*$$$$$How Divyanka handled an emotional fan!
When
a Delhi girl Kalash came on the sets of Ye Hai Mohabbatein' to meet her
screen idol Ishita' aka Divyanka Tripathi, little did she knew that the
meeting will turn out so emotional for her.
Draped in glorious
peacock blue sari Diyanka was looking every inch Indian Beauty'. As soon
as Divyanka finished her scene, her assistant introduced her to Kalash
who was waiting patiently outside the actress's make up room. The moment
Kalash, an aspiring actress herself came face to face with her
favourite artist, the former literally burst into tears.
Touched
by her love, Divyanka left no time in enveloping emotional Kalash in a
warm hug and soothed her. Television's favourite bahu then took teary
eyed fan to her make-up room and had a candid chat with her. Not only
that, Divyanka also autographed a beautiful memento for her fan.

Divyanka
made co-star Vivek Dahiya, the handsome ACP Abhishek' to join in the

for Kalash who not only met in person her darling Ishita' but also came

Behind the scenes with 'Divyanka'
Divyanka Tripathi is the quintessential Indian beauty and favourite daughter-in-law, wife, sister and a mother for the television's hard core viewers. Loved for her character of Ishita Bhalla' in Star Plus show Ye Hai Mohabbatein', transition of Divyanka into sari clad Ishita' is remarkable.
When we bumped into gorgeous actress on the sets of her daily soap, dressed comfortably in beautiful beige short kurti and vibrant pink skirt, stitched especially by her mother, we were impressed with her easy demeanor and warm nature.
Divyanka insists that removing every trace of make-up from your skin can help you in avoiding pimple and acne. She also said that carefully removing makeup before going to bed is the reason her skin looks so healthy.
One of important feature which adds to Divyanka's beauty is her lavish mane. With those straight jet black tresses, Divyanka looks absolutely breathtaking. For her on-screen character, Divyanka sports various asimple yet exquisite hair styles which become an instant hit with her female fans.
Winner of Miss Bhopal 2005', Divyanka had also won the title for Miss Beautiful Skin' in Teen Queen Contest' of Zee. Divyanka says,"Drinking lots of water throughout the day keep your skin nourished. One must also invest in good quality moisturizer according to their skin type."
Divyanka can relate to Ishita' as both have many similarities. Divyanka loves wearing Indian clothes, especially sarees. Even if Sabyasachi and Manish Malhotra are her favourite designers, TV's Best Traditionally Dressed' Bahu is little partial towards her mother's creations as she gets the homely' feeling wearing them.
