Yeah, baby. Now this was what I was talking about!😃

What aired today was the best episode of the series till date. I am incredibly impressed.⭐️

---

CASE SUMMARY- A bridegroom is killed on the eve of his wedding, and the only witnesses are his two friends who have been drugged and are found elsewhere in a disoriented state.

The episode was compact, tightly-knit with all the details in place, and had the right amount of team work with everyone doing their bit to solve the case.

Not to mention, the intrigue factor- we were kept guessing who the killer was till the end.

Moreover, Raghav also got to put his psychiatric training to use- his spotting of how two individuals involved had an affair by their reflective gestures- classy👏
And his desire to get one of the witnesses hypnotised to glean who the killer is.

The forensic details too were well-presented- the reference to the carotid artery being cut, delineating the time of death by the fake watch, the use of rohypnol to drug someone, using information about how emeralds are affected by detergents, and how the killer used their knowledge of biochemistry...and so on.

We also get to understand the significance of one of the witnesses seeing a board and how Raghav understands something about him, which in turn leads him to the killer at the end. As I said- we are kept guessing till the last moment about the murderer, which is the way it should be.

Lovely team bonding moments too-Rajbeer and Gauri's convo in the car, Rajbeer being teased by Raghav about his food habits, Gauri and Rajbeer's another banter which leads Raghav to a revelation about the case...sweet😃

----

SHIPPER BITS-

As for the Trisha- Raghav moments, we didn't have much- but there are times when things have to be understood in the context.

It's curious that Raghav talks of how someone in a romantic relationship tends to mirror the gestures and behavioural tics of their partner. And in the end scene, you have Raghav and Trisha seated on the same sofa with their legs crossed- same position😳😆 I have an eagle eye for these things😉 This is more of a bhavnaon ko samjho bit from the makers.

And some other small details like- Raghav imitating Trisha for scolding Rajbeer, which Trisha doesn't respond to😆, Raghav getting an insight into the case- a detail which he had missed- which he immediately doesn't share with Rajbeer and Gauri sitting right across the table, but shouts out for Trisha so that he can share the revelation with her, Trisha laughing heartily when Raghav chides Rajbeer for jumping the gun and underestimating him...subtle things which aren't so explicitly seen, but add to their dynamic.

And dialogue of the day goes to Trisha- "Pyaar aur dosti ke beech ka farak humein pata hai". I was like - really?😎😆

---

Overall it seems to me that the makers ARE listening. I was cribbing on and on about the sixth episode in particular, but all my complaints have vanished after this episode. Even my complaint about the walk of triumph seems to have been taken note of. Strange😲 It's almost as if someone is reading our views on the forum.

I can't appreciate the writer enough for such a brilliant episode, really. You made my Saturday. Good work!

9/10 from me👍🏼

My advice to those who haven't caught the epi- RUN. And watch it now⭐️

Positives

  1. The body being found. Damn the suspense was killing. Even though I knew what was going to happen it was too good!
  2. The quick intro. Finally! No long intros. It was quick and into the case.
  3. Gauri's and Rajbir's talk as Bikram is sleeping in the jeep. I loved that so much!
  4. Raghav's quick deductions. Ah finally they're showing the uncanny psychiatric side of him!
  5. Raghav's comments to Rajbir! He guessed the bread pakodas so well. Too good!
  6. Tracking Max. That was a nice move. It was a key part of the investigation and was there at the right time.
  7. I loved how Raghav deduced Max was on drugs.
  8. Another thing I liked was how the closest suspects were all investigated.
  9. Rajbir's question on the ring. Well put. I was thinking he would say something about the ring missing but I like how he put it and got the answer he was looking for.
  10. Raghav deduces where Jai is. Another nice one. And then catching Jai.
  11. Raghav, Rajbir, and Gauri's conversation was too good. And then the way Raghav deduced what had happened.
  12. Raghav showing his psychiatric mind to Alisha. Again we're back on track!
  13. Raghav proving each suspect innocent. I love the suspense because I really couldn't guess who the killer is until the end either!
  14. And then that climax! Woot!

Negatives

  1. The caretaker touching the door. Usually blood is the last thing that comes to anyone's mind. I would have liked if they showed him thinking tomatoes or ketchup before realizing it was blood. It would be more real.
  2. Mumbai again?!! This is Delhi CBI! Why can't Mumbai CBI handle the case? Or at least make the setting closer to Delhi.
  3. Rajbir's food eating habits. Do they really have to copy Rigsby's character so much?!! Like freaking hell give something of his own to this guy's character!
  4. Where did they get selfie before getting Max's phone?!! That was such a big blooper!
  5. Rohypnol ko roofie bana diya? What type of move was that CVs?

Overall I loved it! Tight investigation, proper suspects, and suspense and thrill to the end. Loved it!

^ Awesome analysis, Shreya.

Completely agree with the parts about the ketchup blood and Rajbeer'e messy eating habits.

Minor niggles in an otherwise awesome episode. As viewers we were blindsided- for eg, where one of the suspects saw the board and said something- which makes you go "huh?"- but makes sense later. That was employed so well.

And how Gauri tracked the suspects, Bikram dozing in the car so that Rajbeer and Gauri could have their convo, the elimination of the suspects one by one...too good.

I think this episode on the whole was well-balanced.

You got to see Raghav's Holmesian side, his psychiatric side, his light-hearted side, and also his anxiety (at having not gleaned a significant detail).

Great going there.

And the fact that the team was participating from the get go. Trisha scolding her teammates rightly for missing the flight. The bread pakoda deduction. Gauri's tech analysis. Rajbeer donning a disguise, again. Trisha laughing at Rajbeer's leg being pulled.

I have only one word for today's Episode: BRILLIANT.
From Start to Finish it was Brilliant. I could not guess till the end how will he prove that he was right that Alisha was not the criminal. And then comes the Climax and i was like 😲👏. Also the Bread pakora deduction was awesome. 😆 I loved the episode and this was my 2nd episode . I will now catch up on the past episodes. 😃

Great Show. 👏

Amri absolutely! Today it wasn't a one man's show. Today it was about the team. I just wish they would get rid of that victory walk at the end.

What I especially loved was how everyone had a hand in solving the case.

Greetings AMRI,
CV'S please i request you don't write stories which look like silly and stupid...Homicide crimes are always written in different set up...and above that you people have involved Psychiatric element to it making matter more worse for you all...

You don't know how to write crime stories then first learn the A B C before going all and all shooting the scenes...

Your only saving grace is the actor Sharad aka Agent Raghav...and he too knows very much how important his expressions and way of acknowledgement are when given the chance to prove his metal...

@ AMRI...you are so sweet dear...just reading your post makes my anger go away from cv's otherwise i would have given them just 1 out of 10...

The Silly writings...

If you all say i will give you all the detail analysis of stupidity of the track with lengthy arguments...

CV'S please try reading suspense novels or children books called nancy drew...at least you will get the abc of what exactly the concept at which crime stories are written...

@ AMRI SORRY but your post is very good and i liked the alert eyes of yours comparing the scene of Raghav and Trisha...

Yeah, great episode. You might find that the past episodes aren't to the quality of this one, but overall...still okay.

Thanks for commenting.

Yeah, the walk of triumph...at least this one was okay because they showed both Raghav and Trisha walking in exaltation with the team close by- usually it is Raghav who walks a mile ahead so that the team can look at him in admiration.

Even his trademark dialogue was placed in a way that suited the context.

Greetings to you too.😃

Hey, no need to be sorry. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. It's fun if yours differs from mine, coz we can have a good discussion about it.😳

The episode certainly wasn't perfect, as Shreya pointed out- but it was damn close to it. A myriad of forensic, psychological and scientific details went into its making. And I loved that I couldn't predict the killer till the end- they had us in loops. Like the color blind witness- i have read it in so many detective novels and even seen it in a recent well-made movie. But it never struck me at all.

And IMO the setting was different this time- a bridegroom doesn't turn up at the venue of the wedding. Made it more intriguing somehow.

This is just my opinion, though- please feel free to share yours.😊
