Back when they got married I felt that she wore the mangalsutra and sindoor as a reminder to Arjun that he is married and therefore cannot go after Sam. When she left for Hrishikesh she wore them because they were the only things left that sort of 'connected' her to Arjun. When they got married the second time around it was because they both loved each other and wanted to spend the rest of their lives together, and no mangalsutra or sindoor were needed any more. Arjun knows that Radhika is his wife and he loves her and vice versa.
