Sohail Khan as a Director

What are people's thoughts on the way Sohail directs films?

As much as I hate myself for it, I feel like he's a decently credible director (no sarcasm intended whatsoever).

I watched a bit of Jai Ho last night. The movie was pretty bad in terms of technical stuff, and it has TONS of cringe moments. However, I liked the story of it, and the morals that it tried to teach. I realize that it's an adaptation of Paying it Forward, and I think Sohail Khan deserves credit for trying a story like that out.

I also recall being one of the perhaps 2 or 3 existing people who enjoyed Main Aur Mrs. Khanna for the fairly unique story that it had.

Let me clarify, he needs like at least 5 years of film school. but I like his work so far for the unique content he's made

Anyway Prem Soni directed MAMK and Jai Ho was a remake of some south Indian masala which had already butchered the Paying it Forward concept and Sohail Khan managed to make the concept one of the biggest SMS jokes of the year

I like Sohail as a Director, his debut direction PKTDK is 1 of my fav all time Romantic film... He wasn't that much successful as a director, but as a producer had some big hits.
