Actual fair/light skinned celebrities do not like to endorse fairness creams.. like Anushka and Kangana. But the dark skinned ones like Kajol, Pari etc can be seen promoting it everywhere. 😕

No.Parineeti isnt dark at all. Must be some other. Kajol definitely has become several shades lighter and so has Tushar Kapoor. Its not just leading ladies.

And now they use fair and lovely. What is the difference except the ingredients being used. Anu didnt like her face shape, lips, so she went and changed it. In fact took extreme steps to do so. Girls with thin hair who want thick hair get extensions, hair transplants. girls who have too much body facial hair go and get a wax. Each to their own. A way to get the look you aspire to have but nature didnt gift you with.

Its something i diont understand, this whole 'fairness crams are wrong' funda.

I kinda agree with you pakeezah!

If a girl wants to be fair, its her choice and there is nothing wrong with it. Like there is nothing wrong in wanting to be dusky! Why not question tanning lotion or tanning machines then?

But when you link complexion with success or rejection, it becomes all wrong.

I have seen a tvc of fair n lovely in which a lawyer girl was dark and could not have confidence to do her job! But when she became fair , she was all confident and was fighting for her clients and ended up getting applause!

W*F! What has being confident got to do with skin color!

On the other hand if you question skin lightening products, you have to question other beauty products too which discriminates!

Its more like , as they are selling aspiration for to be white to consumer etc. they normally choose a celebrity who will easy to sell that aspiration for more to brown or dark . So kajol , madhuri, sonam etc. fit into that category. If they choose kangana or anushka then they are already white in natural way, and for them its difficult to relate with the consumer so also difficult to sell that aspiration to consumer for to be white. They are more suitable for direct skin whitening marketed product where as anushka etc. suitable for substitute whitening product . same as SRK as direct skin whitening cream product etc. and Hithrik is more suitable for substitute whitening fash wash.

As hypocritical as ever. What are those Nivea whitening products she endorses? The armpit one, the new body lotion?
Pathetic loser.

Not much actually. Most have admitted that all a fairness cream is able to do in reality is remove your tan and help u protect the skin from further tanning if u use it regularly. Even when u go to dermatologist and ask them to make u fairer like many do, all they will be able to do is again remove your tan and bring u back to ur normal skin tone. Its all the same. Sunscreen lotions and whitening creams

Thats not how they are advertised. Thats not what consumers ask for. But thats just the hidden truth. Thats the most a fairness cream can do. But advertisers and brands says they can perform the miracle that u always wanted.

Nivea one is clear cut for fairer underarms. Never a sun protection lotion.

Even I know the difference. No need to give excuses.
