Yeah, the initial attraction was the connection he felt with her through her name - the idea of a Yousuf being in love with Zulekha is what attracted him towards her. I mentioned that above as well. Call it Yousuf's way of feeling infatuated towards her? 😆 or whatever else, but Yousuf felt there was a connection. And at this point in the show, after everything that both of them have done for each other, intentionally or not..isn't it arguable that Y&Z DO have some sort of connection? Or else, why would either one of them have gone to such extents for the other? Yousuf may be the crazy majnu here, but why has Zulekha done the things that she has so far for him? She even feels confused as to what her feelings truly are for Yousuf, yet I think she has made bigger sacrifices for Yousuf. It goes back to how Yousuf felt that he can have a bond with this girl, Zulekha..and I personally feel with everything at this point, he does. What does one want to term this connection? that can be left up to the viewer I feel.

This is just how I see it, you guys don't have to agree on it though. 😆..but that's how I feel Y&Z are meant to be at least.

I said it coz this question came in to my mind.. N then u guys discussed it here, I read it all n at the end, even though u guys are having different ways of thinking, I kind of agree with both.. 😛

I forgot who said this dialogue? I think Yousuf said it to Daaji when he asked him how pretty she was (if I'm not mistaken?)

In my opinion, I don't think Yousuf ever cared how Zulekha looked like. He just fell for her and nothing else mattered. Love is blind after all. 😆 The way I see it, if he fell for her based off of looks..how is that any less bizarre? When you say you LOVE someone because they're beautiful, isn't that being superficial? How can that be termed love also? yet people do claim it's muhabbat as well.

We all feel the attraction in an instant, right? Sometimes it's as common as seeing a beautiful face walk in the room, sometimes a touch, sometimes a deed, sometimes a word. Attraction begins somewhere and it's always a little spark. It's not necessary that love happens after we know someone inside out. For Yousuf that beginning was Zulekha's name. He was surprised just hearing the name of Zulekha and instantly got curious about this girl. Then he saw her face and it's not like she is a terrible looker, so that feeling grew. Plus in his head he cooked up the whole meant to be connection cuz Yousuf/Zulekha 😆 That's why he always put emphasis on his name because their first connection is names only.

He got fixated with the idea of being the whole meant to be and kept going on and ultimately fell in love, not just with the idea of being with someone named Zulekha but Zulekha Noor Muhammad herself. And Zulekha fell in love with all the things he did for her, his junoon and deewanapann, his reliability, his whole manner of loving her. Their love had a twisted start but kya karein, hai tou love hi 😳
