Ranbir Kapoor failed miserably to carry Bombay Velvet, making it one of the all time disaster. Do you think Ranveer Singh, who is rolling high after Ramleela, Gundey and DDD, would have carried the movie to cross 100 crores figure on BO?

only one of the Khans would have done that...and that also barely...

yahan itne saare A listers milker bhi Kangna ko beat nahi kar paa rahe hai...and Ranveer would have done it by himself...yeah right😆

Naah. It was a bad movie.

I still don't doubt RK's acting ability. Same for RS.

BV had a disaster written all over it no matter who was the hero.

Maybe collected at least more on the first day plus he has chemistry with Anushka where the other classic pair at least in this movie failed to impress. 😆

exactly...BV was the director's failure...nothing to do with actors...

Kisi ek Khan uncle ko karni chahiye thi.

Asli stardom pata chal jati. 😆😆 I bet tino sath aate BV mein.. to shayad dhakke kha kha ke baat ban sakti thi.

Not Bombay Velvet dissection again! Groan...for last one month this forum is obsessed with the debacle of BV 🥱

Speaking of Ranveer, he has that kind of OTT, hyperactive, nervous energy which might have suited that role better...but in the end it was the bad direction, hotchpotch story, messy editing and misrepresentation of 60s era in Bombay that killed that movie.

So let BV rest in peace! RIP!

yeah they would have managed to make a 100 crore...but that would be a failure according to their standards...right...so this movie had disaster written all over it😆

100 crore does not even cover movie cost. Forget their standard.. it would still be flop.

Oh how much I would have liked that. 😆 kala dhabba on khan uncle's stardom. I would have loved to rub BV on BO debacles. 🤣
