this one would have been tough even for Khans...without Khans the movies budget was more than 100crs...wht the budget would b with Khans? the script was bad and the direction too...it's harsh to blame the actors...

Bv was a grand concept but execution main locha hogaya.. I have seen parts of it. It was ranbirs best work till date. But I feel this role was written for amir/ranveer. They can pull of tapori best. Ranbir is very polished urban guy. That why I felt he could have done DDD best. He can play a smitten lover boy like nobody else with class. This role was written for ranbir. It was case of miscasting. If ranveer was in bv even the budget would had been tighter. They would have serched for alternatives for cost cutting. But that role was written for ranveer.

Naah, probably the best thing about bombay velvet was Ranbir Kapoor...the guy takes risks... There is no doubt...Ranveer does over acting...yes, he is good but he does go overboard. Band bajaa baaraat, ram leela all has Ranveer Singh oozing out of his characters, Ranbir Kapoor just melts into the character he is playing.
