If kajol can still play the lead actress pairing up with srk, why cant raveena do it. Is it really delusional???? no way

every actress has the right to decide what roles she takes up, if karishma, kajol fans expect them to get heroine roles, so is raveena who is at the same age group and they were all rivals at some point.

she def can give the top heroines of today a run for their money. I bet many wouldnt even be able to match her in her dance, she is an excellent dancer

Point of note:

- Raveena agreed to do the role initially

- Zoya offered her the role.

This is quite sickening for a woman to do this in the industry. We can't even say it's sexism now. How awful. The more age-appropriate actress for the role would be Rekha who is 4-5 years older than Anil Kapoor and she looks killer.

Ranveena doesn't look old enough to play PC or Ranveer's mother and neither does Shefali.

PS it's funny to see PC act awkward when Rajeev Masand mentioned Shefali being too young to play her mother 😆

It is.

Anil is 58 years old. Just because women like Raveena and Madhuri paired up with men in Anil's age range does NOT mean that they ARE the same age.

So If Anil is now old enough to play father's roles, doesn't mean the women he once paired up with are either. That's like saying if Shahrukh is playing father to 20 something year old a few years from now, get Deepika to play the mother coz she used to pair up with Shahrukh once upon a time. Does that make any sense? 😕

A 58 year old Anil can and should play father to a 32 year old Priyanka. But a 40 year old Raveena cannot play the mother. It is ridiculous. no wonder she looked like her sister.

I think even Anil has been against playing father roles even though he is himself in his 50s. This was only for DDD that he made an exception.

In Raveena's case, maybe she isn't old enough to play PC's mother and she has every right to decide what she wants to do. But DDD would have been a good opportunity for her .. it's not like she has too many film offers anyway.

Is her husband really the biggest distributor of bollywood films in Mumbai (as someone mentioned a few pages back)?

I've heard that her father used to be a producer but I've never really seen any film that he might have made, or at least I don't remember if I did.
