Can we really blame Arjun??

Hello everyone..!! I have been a silent reader of this forum and I just had this urge to voice out my opinion about Arjun's character. 😊

More secrets about the past are being revealed in the show. Arjun's character have been portrayed grey and angry. He is shown to be rude and arrogant but maybe these are just some of his qualities. Everyone have both good and bad in them. It all depends on how we choose to see it. Right now he is only consumed by his revenge for justice. I think it is pretty natural for anyone in revenge to behave the same way especially when you don't have anything more left to loose. He is very hurt, angry and have memories that torment him all the time. It's the ultimate goal that matters for him right now. So we cant really blame him for his behavior. The environment one grows in plays an important role to determine who they become in the future.

In the flashbacks Arjun was always shown with Nandini during his childhood. The only person whom he could reach out as a child was Nandini. After her there was no one whom he could lean on or count on for support. He was all alone and he is still all alone. And he has grown up all alone. He still haven't opened himself to anyone. He has one set goal to accomplish and that is to even the scores of his past.

Unlike our lucky Sam he doesn't have true friends whom he could count on to watch his back for or to push him to the correct path. He is a single soul on a single journey. Revenge breaks oneself. In the end there is no peace of mind, no happiness leaving oneself empty. And we all know that he is bound to realize that very soon but this time he would have people whom he can lean on.

Arjun needs good friends who can help him and whom he can rely on. Good friends who will look out for him in the same way how our own friends do. I am sure that once the whole revenge plot is done we will get to see new shades of Arjun. Under all the unbreakable and strong exterior there is a soft and genuine Arjun we all got a short glimpse of. The way how he have gave money for the small boy for his operation. Now a days no one is so generous and kind after going through a painful past. Situations are capable of bringing the worst in people out. Like every character in a book or a person in this world, he has his plus and minus points.

So thats my point of view. I don't intend to offend anyone, and if I do I am sorry for that in advance. I just didn't want his character to be misunderstood. 😃

I was wondering the same. What he has done to Radz till now is enough to land him in Jail and ruin any semblance of a normal life he looks forward too. So once he is finished with Sam, he needs to go straight to the looney Bin. No amount of sob story of a troubled childhood is going to cut it.

Bonnie lost her job for saving his ass---------if that doesn't prove love/friendship,/trust/faith what else would?
What did he do to Bonnie? Used her and throw her in dungeon , where she lost her career, job and Piali will make sure that she gets job nowhere.
If that is his motto of life about friendship---------I guess all through his life he will going to live alone.

Friendship builds up in sacrifice---like Neil. In forgiveness , like Radhika.In honesty, like Sam. In loyalty like teji.

Not by cheating, hurting, lying, bullying, using , disrespecting and misbehaving.

As for Nandini. she was a woman, the girl Arjun is trying to ruin(Sam) another woman, and the person he is trying to use to ruin Sam are also women( Bonnie /Radhika). He is a women manipulator. If he really respected that woman he wouldn't use other woman to take revenge. He has issue with Sam's Dad-----------put a bullet in his head. Done. Why hurting another girl? Who does that? Cowards.

See, the thing is, there is a minimally destructive way to get revenge. Present proof of infidenlity and what was done to Nandini, to Samrat and Piyali and family

Use a, dare I say it😆, presentation

That Arjun does not even think of using less destrutive methods of revenge makes him sneaky, manipulative and evil

Hey Girls. :)

I respect all of your point of views and I know that Arjun is at fault too. But what I am trying to say is that we cant only blame him for everything, can we? Have you guys watched the series called 'The Originals' ? The main character of it, Klaus is depicted as the biggest villain of all the time. But in the end when tables turn around and stories unfold, his actions are justified. All of the characters have their odds and motives. It leaves us in a position where you cant really blame him after all he had been through. just try substituting Klaus-Arjun, Hayley-Sam, Elijah-Neil and Camille-Radhika. I am trying to say the same thing as that.

As for him using Sam to fill his vengeance I am completely against it. I myself am a girl and I would not want to be used liked that by a guy. If Arjun breaks her heart he will also fix it. If he causes her pain he would also apologize back to her. Because whatever goes around comes around. The pain he is causing someone today, he would end up becoming a victim of it too. But right now he is not in a clear state of mind where he will play everything by the rules. He wont consider if it's right or wrong, if someone's hurt or not. When everything is over, he would realize what he has lost, and then he would mend his ways because most of the time people don't realize what they have until its lost.

There is always a start for a new beginning. People who really don't like each other end up becoming friends. We accept each other with our odds and darkest secrets. How we could forgive and forget one another. So I am hoping one day that I get to see the friendship of these 4. I think it would be an amazing sight to watch. :) I think the bond that these 4 would would share would be very strong.

Samrat may have tricked and emotionally devastated his friend / family member, but it is not considered a crime in the eyes of the law. He is despicable if he meant to do it. But it doesnt make him a lunatic. But what Arjun is doing is criminal AND insane

Criminality requires the justice system to step in. Insanity requires treatment. Forgiveness can come after he has paid the time.

That's the key, but frankly speaking I doubt the show will go that way. The promos clearly show that the cvs r more keen on 'hatred turning into love angle' and Arjun's revenge is just a minor part of it. Most probably his sob story is going to come out thru Radz's intervention and then turn into love.

There will be no time in jail or in any treatment facility, sadly.
