There are many ways we could have approached it as a story
Had R&B be flaky the rest of his life, just UNABLE to let go, turning into a alcoholic

Or be so mean and vengeful,  taken Excelsior over and destroyed it completely

Or joined hands with Chachu to ruin Ranjan

Never married, just flitted from woman to woman

Or taken solace in drugs and ended up in rehab
Or investigated or inquired and sent his Dad to prison

He did none of that

He totally struggled to move on, holding on to an image of Malcha Marg that no longer existed, while trying to cut himself off by living in Paris and dating an older woman, he also did not have the courage to find the truth, fearing he may not like what he may find

We are all so weak in many ways, yet display tremendous courage at the most unexpected times.
