Many have fallen 'before' me - in this line 'before' stands for time or position ?.. as in - Many have fallen in front of me or Many have fallen (long ago) before me ?


Also , is the magical creature/beast mentioned in one of the HP books ?.. or is it a creature from Magical beast book which was released separately ?..

Fallen here does not refer to time.. It kind of refers to position.. Not completely though..

It is a part of the HP series.. Not a seperate one.. Mentioned loads of times..

And the answer isn't only a magical beast.. It is part human.. Like an animagus for example...

Yes. Greyback makes complete sense. Couldn't think about it.
Trolls came to me when you said about the offer for power but not kept thing. Coz as I believe Hagrid and Death Eaters did make offers for powers to these trolls.
