I said the answer to be a part beast part human.. But trolls aren't considered as humans as far as I knoe..

Yes. Greyback makes complete sense. Couldn't think about it.
Trolls came to me when you said about the offer for power but not kept thing. Coz as I believe Hagrid and Death Eaters did make offers for powers to these trolls.
