Ok thats a relief.

My hubby doesn't stop at just watching ELR , he behaves like Raymond from time to time too. Ends up getting the third degree from me .😉 😆 There was a time when the kids and me had banned him from watching the show because his antics were beginning to get on our nerves. We were constantly made 'bakras' of his straight faced mischief.😆 😆.

Do watch it when you get a chance. You will like the camaraderie between Raymond's parents. The actors playing the elderly couple were simply outstanding.

Good morning everyone🤗

I am finding it a bit weird that Salim is actually getting sympathy🤔

He has done nothing but disrespect his parents, siblings and what not...he even asked his mother to convert for his selfish reasons...not that Jodha wouldn't agree for her child...but I am sure Salim is that old that he can at least understand who is manipulative and who actually cares for him...

I mean I am finding it a bit stupid that he hasn't realized still that Ruqs is manipulating him in every possible way; I am sure the REAL Salim may have actually been smarter than what he is being portrayed.

And the silliest reason why he wants the throne is to make Anarkali MEH🥱...it shows his seriousness about actually ruling the empire...very sad...

I know that Akbar and Salim had a lot of tension between them...but I am sure they were mature enough and dealt with each other in a dignified manner...but this Salim just goes on talking whichever way he wants to his parents and even siblings...like some 21st century rich, spoilt brat...

When the show began in 2013, there was an element of classiness, beauty and thrill in it...now it has just been reduced to some timepass daily soap, which is seen on every other channel...

Ekta Kapoor and her CVs are giving a very wrong message to society; that evil always wins over goodness...it is not true...you don't have such scheming villains in real life for sure...I don't know why are they so sadistic and hell-bent on ruining the leads' lives, but I am sure that many people are tired of watching the same formula used over and over again...there is need for some freshness and reality in fiction and general entertainment shows in India

Coming to Salim, I am able to understand him to a certain extent but not beyond that. Its basically how each person handles a situation . Different people handle it in diff ways for the same situation. I find Salim weak and can easily be manipulated. He will eventually learn and hopefully fingers crossed understand form his parents perspective as well.

Jalal, Jodha are doing what they can. That said they are not perfect either. Jodha needs to be a little more firm, jalal needs to communicate well. Salim needs to start thinking from others perspective as well rather than empathizing.

Friday was the day finally i lost my patience with Salim.

@bold: very true. Also I dont think any one can be as naive as Jalal, jodha and Salim. they are being fooled again and again by ruks, and these poor sould dont even realize that.
