Uncomfortable with Polygamy storyline!

I am not sure of everyone else, but I am not feeling so many warm fuzzies over this Polygamy storyline with Aahil and his two wives! Watching Asad being stuck between Tanveer and Zoya was bad enough! Funnily enough he was NOT married to either of them!

Then finally he married Zoya, and then Tanveer was trying for force him to marry HER as well! Lol

Now comes Aahil, who is actually legally married to Sanam. Then they get separated and he is conned into marrying someone else, who he THINKS is Sanam! So I am still grappling with the legality of this marriage to start with! I also wonder what Aahil thinks Sanam is doing back in IM, if all she wanted was revenge from him to start with?

Isn't that what Tanveer told him? That she was only doing all this to find a moment to get back at him, and she found her moment when she got the chance to run from the wedding, thus publicly humiliating him? So then WHY has she come back? Especially if Tanveer now intends to treat her as a servant in the house? Why would she put up with all that and STAY in this house? I wonder if Aahil will even CONTEMPLATE that, while he romances NEW Sanam to make Sanam jealous?

I also hate how Aditi (who plays the new Sanam) keeps referring to Aahil as her "Husband". She is talking as if she is the REAL Begum, when the actual fact is the real Begum is still very much there! But I think when she referred to insecurity, it was a clear indication, that THIS is what will turn her negative. She will realise she can never compete with Aahil's first wife, and she will be another Shireen. But instead, she will turn into Billi 2, and try and "Gain" him through any means. So that means, she will want Sanam out of the way. That way she thinks she will have a shot with Aahil, the same way Tanveer thought Asad will be interested in her if Zoya was not in the picture!

I guess ASYA and Billi Reloaded is coming. This time SAHIL and Billi 2! But they have gone a step further and made it Rashid, Dilshaad and Shirin. Only this time Shirin is Billi and Aahil unlike Rashid didn't chose to get married, but was conned into marriage!

Either ways, man with two wives in the SAME house? I don't like it ONE bit! Please share your thoughts!

P.S: Aahil must be the ONLY ex player with two wives who never gets any action! LOL

Wat does Ahil thinks of himself?😡 By making Sanam1 jealous using Sanam2 he is actually playing wid Sanam2's emotions. No one has right to play wid anyone's emotions by cumn close to dat person. Now, I really want Ahil to come on d streets. Then he will understand wat damage he caused by burning sum1's livelihood dat is dhaba in a moment wen he will lose his property in a moment. Now, I want Sanam to treat Ahil like a servant cuz hos dare he treat her like a nachaniya or servant or romance wid other woman dat too in her own parents house? Ahil needs to learn his aukaat😡. Asad always got away wid all his grave mistakes wid stupid Zoya always forgiving him. I don't want d same wid Ahil.

Mandy, agree with you completely, and thanks to you that you made this post, I am completely uncomfortable with this whole two wives things, this is purely disgusting, and I insane, Gul khan has lost it completely, I was so heartbroken when they got Aahil married again, I have stopped watching as I just can not digest this thinking, it makes me sick, and also how it is legal when he is already married to our dear Sanam, and also the what this whole sham marriage happen, her name was taken as Sanam Ahemad khan, so how it is legal, I am just so disgusted with the thought of Aahil sharing his room with this new sick woman, btw I really did like the actress who is playing this role, she is billi 2 in making for sure, the whole Asya story is repeating here, and I just do not get how Gk is getting good TRPs, I am totally 🤢 what is the point is repeating old sick tracks,it is better to end the show on a high note than butchering characters, I just do not know how I am going to watch this shit again, specially my Sahil..😕 I I will not be able to tolerate Aahil making Sanam j with this new creep..

I won't question Aahil or Sanam. I will question Gul yet again. What do YOU think of yourself? You will show all sorts of crap and unlawful nonsense and we will watch? For once, if you have the guts, show a woman with two husbands. Will you do that? No. You will not. But you will repeatedly show a man with two wives. Hell. Its not a man woman thing... No one can have two spouses. This is ridiculous.

I know! What I loved about SAHIL was how fresh their story was from the start of season 2. It was very fast paced and they had such Tashan! Now?? They have brought in this new women who is just there because of Billi's tricks! SHE is staying in SAHIL's room? I mean at least we didn't get Asad and Tannu sharing a room? After all they didn't have a legal relationship! But now they have AAHIL, who was my favourite, sharing a room with creepy Sanam! It feels SO wrong, coz that room was where our SAHIL really got to know each other and shared so many moments together!

This whole storyline was not needed and totally sick! Hate it! Aahil with two wives is like a total nightmare! I guess now Aahil is the new Sheik Nazim?

Aahil is the new Sheik Nazim😆 Loved it, yes he is , my problem is that woman staying with him in the same room and sharing same bed, gosh I am just so irritated🤢😡 iI really hope he throws that woman out, If not ,I will not be able to tolerate it, Aahil was my most fav character on tv even more than Asad , I am just so heartbroken now. I just read your stories and make myself happy, I really hope you continue writing, your story reminds me of our lovely old Sahil. btw when are you updating, please do update soon, eagerly waiting for it...about the show I have no hopes left, it is better to not keep any expectations otherwise we are going to get heartbroken again..

I never thought there will be anything more distasteful than Aaher..but no now we have Sanam in the mujra lehenga. the most awful dress. Sanam dressed in item dress - I was so not looking forward to this.

And now Aahil will watch her dance along with others.

Well in islam a man can have two, three or four wifes, but woman can't. And if Gul ever show a woman with two husbands, then it would be ridiculous, because this show is about muslims.

Ceratin men who are able to treat all equally (if they have the patience and capability) may have up to four wives but it is not recommended. It is only permitted under certain conditions such as infertility experienced by the first wife/inability to conceive or if the first wife is seriously ill which can be either physically or mentally and the children need a mother to be taken care of...then in cases as such if he feels he can treat BOTH or ALL FOUR equally in terms of time, money, luxury, and affection, then he should seek permission from the first wife to get married for the second time. In cases of infertility experienced by men, the woman must divorce the guy to get married for the second time. Polygamy is allowed for certain men under certain conditions because there are more females in this world than males. That is why certain men have been permitted to marry up to four wives provided that he treats all of them equally at all times without being unjust even once. If a woman were to marry multiple men, then there would be confusion regarding paternity. In the case of Qubool Hai, Aahil was CONNED into an invalid marriage and CLEARLY he will NOT treat both of them equally. If he is not able to treat them all equally, then there will some fitnah (trials and tribulations) which he will have to face in this world as well as in the Hereafter (on the Day of Judgement or qayamat). So yes it is unjust for Gul Khan to show polygamy in this case as she seems hellbent on justifying it. Lastly, if a woman wants, she can put include the condition of "no second marriage as long as I live" in the marriage contract (nikaahnama).

In the case of our Prophet (peace be upon him), he never married a second woman as long as his first wife Khadija lived. After she died, many wars took place leaving behind many widows with children who were not able to provide for themselves. Hence the Prophet married such women to provide for them and their children...and he treated them all equally at all times as he was extremely patient. He did it for the betterment of those women, not for himself..i.e. his own comfort.

Some people use his example to justify polygamy, but they fail to realize that the Prophet's intentions were poles apart from what today's men intend to do when it comes to engaing in polygamous relationships. I believe most guys wouldn't marry a woman for her betterment...most of them would want to do it for their own comfort. Therefore, one must think a million times before engaging in polygamy as it is not a free pass for men to look around and check out the beauty of other women (in spite of being married) so they can get married again by using the Prophet's example.

Anyways, Gul Khan will not inform the audience about all this. So I guess there's no point of bringing Islam to the forefront. I just wanted to clarify why and when is polygamy allowed.
