Puneet is real, not Dhongi and dal-badlu like most others
Puneet has been bashed umpteenth times with the best choicest of words and profanities. But let's agree to a fact that Puneet is exactly on screen what he is in real life. He is not pretending to be something just for the sake of cameras. If we are abusing him, then clearly we are also nothing less.
Let me take some of his traits and elaborate on them.
Plotting - BB house is for plotting and planing only. If one just wants to come and live here and go back home, then they might as well not be a participant in the first place. In that regards, Puneet gets a 100%.
Bitching & Gossip - Let's admit that we all do that when in private with our close circle of family/friends. He's doing the same on National Television. So is he a hypocrite or are we? Again 100%.
Violence - It looks like he suffers from high BP and is unable to control his aggression when he gets angry and that's something which is dangerous. One must keep calm under most circumstances. 50% here.
Manipulates - Haven't each one of us tried to manipulate people to our own advantage. This is REAL WORLD. Everybody does it! If we look within ourselves, we will know that at some stage in life, we also do manipulate people or things to our advantage. And BB is the house to clearly do that, so he is not wrong. And like he rightly said to Pritam, "If you get manipulated, that's your problem, not mine". 100% again.
Hard Working - He is ready for any type of work and never shies away from doing it. In fact, he works harder than most of the contestants, second only to GG.
Loyal - He was also loyal to his friends. He got upset with Praneet after he saw on TV what Praneet showed about that stick in front of gautams statue during the Dictator task. And he clearly was totally helping Pritam advance in the game, but Pritam got influenced by Upen, his wife and Tanna and lost it. If he's your friend, he will stand for you.
Puneet & Gautam's Relation - Many keep on saying that GG is his rottweiler or slave. Is that the only relation which evokes such kind of loyalty. Can't it be a genuine case of love (father-son type bonding between them; GG has been away from his father since infancy, so its bound to happen and he looks upto Puneet as a fatherly figure which you can determine by his body language too) OR can't friends be equally loyal. If you are in trouble, then you would expect your friend to stand up for you and with you. GG clearly doesn't consider Praneet his friend and Pritam also lost it somehow.
Entertainment, Entertainment, Entertainment - There's no doubt that a large portion of content is generated by Punz and if you compare Khali with Punz, you will realize that Punz is an all-round package. Khali was a furniture lying around.
Last and not the least, Puneet is the only Senior Citizen to have gone so far in BB and he has the distinction of being an amazing master strategist and a brilliant planner.
Like him OR Hate him, but one can't deny that he is the ultimate BIGG BOSS Warrier and I want him to win this show and set a new milestone in BB history.
