Ruqaiyya Debacle

I really feel like banging Ruqaiyya's head to the wall!!
Actually I feel like banging the CVs' heads to the wall...Do they really have to make every grey character behave like a vile, vampish woman?

I still remember when Ruqaiyya had made her entry in the serial...Smiley Suri may have an average actor but I liked the charm, intelligence n style that set Ruqaiyya apart. She could get things done her way with just a wave of her hand.

Then Lavinia Tandon made her entry...She is a prettier n a better actress...but with her entry, the CVs made Ruqaiyya into a vamp n not the shrewd, astute politically aware wife of Akbar that she originally was.

Nonetheless...I still liked her in some episodes...where she hides her pain during Jodha's fake pregnancy, acknowledges Jodha's help during her almost divorce to Jalal...rebukes Maham Anga on quite a few occasions...
She was never kind, caring like Jodha but she still had a human side to her...I liked her when she gave Jalal a necklace to give Jodha on her birthday...

But now, thr CVs have totally ruined her. She is cruel, horrible, rude n harsh...She gives drugs to a little child, tries to poison him against his mother... 😡
I remember there was a time wen it was shown that despite her jealousy towards Jodha, she still loved Jalal...
She was always after her position but still had feelings for her husband.

Now...she doesnt even love her husband...She has no heart...
Her soul purpose in life is to do competition with Jodha... 😡

I am sure that the real Ruqaiyya must be cursing n tearing her hair from above...seeing how she is being butchered like this...
About Jodha...well we have debated on that enough...

A majestic Empress like her has been reduced to an ideal wife n mother...As if a woman cannot play any other role well.
Her sheer majestic appeal, her intelligence as a businesswoman, brave warrior have been reduced to that of a housewife...

Anyway, just got frustrated...so thought of venting out frustrations here... 😆

ya agree rukiya bure thi but maham se zyada nahi but now iss ne maham ko chodo sab villain ko piche chod diya hai.. as u all know becoz of jalal attention os ne fake pregnancy ke natak tak kar liya tha par aise kya hogaya os se ab jalal ke b parwa nahi wo jodha se hate karti hai chalo wo samjhe sakte hai but why she hate jalal ? ye baat ab tak mujhe samjhe nahi aaye ?

I agree...Ruqaiyya was never really a very naive character...
She was always shrewd, political-minded n even cruel with her subordinates...But still, she loved Jalal...
She did have competition with Jodha...but there were times wen they did get along.
Like wen Jodha saved Jalal by drinking poison n got sick...Ruqaiyya's concern for her was genuine.

It was only Maham Anga who was ruthless, heartless...who didnt care about anyone...
Ruqaiyya was one shrewd, short-tempered woman...but not this bad.
Now she is unbearable.

cvs need not have made ruq so vile
i am sure she was not that cheap shown here

may be we will see less of her when salim is an adult
may be then she will be exposed and punished

Seriously...no need to show her so evil...
