Greta Lewis who attended the ITA awards and met Ashish shares her experience
Ok Gals!! Here it is. My experience of meeting Ashish Sharma urf RUDRA PRATAP RANAWAT!! We (Neelum Guha, due to whom we got Premium Tickets for the Awards show, Crystal D'souza, who had taken Ashish his Bday cake to the sets of RR, Hiral Vora, whom I met for the 1st time at the venue along with Ishita) sat through a really boring awards ceremony with the only intention of rooting for ALL RANGRAISYA nominations and wins and of course the cherry on the cake... Ashish Sharma's dance performance as well as his Best Performer Male Award nomination. Its at the venue we found out that Ashish's dance act was already recorded the night before and there were just 2 other performances by other actors, which we saw live. But the best part for us (besides the Best Lyrics and Music awards being won by RR) was when we spotted Ashish and Archana enter the VIP area. Then onwards our attention was reverted only to the area where they were sitting. When his name was announced as nominee, we all shouted and when the winner was announced we went a little bit crazy and started shouting and cheering to the extend that all the people around us who were sitting quietly, turned around to watch this mad bunch of 5 crazy ladies behaving like teenagers!!! hahahaahaha!! Then his speech and wow! he spoke so well as in the content of his speech was so truthfull and simple. On his walk back to his seat also we were cheering ( you can hear us in the video!! hahahaha) Thats when we decided that the only way we were gonna meet our hero was to be somewhere near the exit and catch him before he leaves. Hiral spotted Anup who was interviewing all the stars, and requested him to get Ashish to take a pic with us when he came. In 5 mins Ashish came along minus Archana (who had already stepped out I guess) and as soon as Anup finished interviewing Ashish on his winning the Award, Crystal and Neelum called out to Ashish and requested for a pic. We were separated by a barricade and he sportingly came over. Neelum introduced all of us and he was all smiles and shook hands with Neelum and readily posed for a group pic. Due to Ashish's height,he bent down so all could be seen, but the guy clicking the pic didnt tell me that I was not being seen as I was right behind Ashish!!! Thus I missed being in the epic pic!! We thanked him and boy were we all like in 7th heaven having met him after going through more than 6 hours to bullshit to meet / see him!!! And was it worth it or what!!! 5 mins was all we needed to be floored by the very charming, courteous, sporting and handsome Mr Ashish Sharma, RUDRA PRATAP RANAWAT FOREVER!!
