This episode was a mosaic of some beautiful and significant moments, a gradual and heartwarming building up journey of two estranged lovers united as desperate parents. A few high points of the episode for me:

-The initial hospital scene, Ashar and Khirad hovered around Hareem with teary eyes, standing each other and next to each other for that only common link between them. And the scene that followed, with Ashar talking to the doctor. Again, FK was fabulous in emoting the scared father.👏 Though he says that he is prepared for the surgery, his slightly shaky voice betrays him. The way he wordlessly fumbles as the doctor goes away shows that he is still baffled at his daughter's condition and trying his level best to maintain calm and composure.

-The scene of Khirad after Ashar takes Hareem to sleep with him and she is alone on the bed. MK was wonderful in that scene! 👏 With the beautiful OST playing in the backdrop, and a battle of pain and desperation playing on Khirad's face, I felt that the superficial beauty of this happy family has so much darkness and hollowness layered underneath. What I inferred of that scene was that Khirad is wondering how good it would have been had Hareem been healthy, and so had her and Ashar's relationship been. She is seeing her daughter having the most wonderful time with her father, yet she knows how fickle this happiness is. One, because the fear of Hareem's health lingers in her mind. And two, if Hareem makes it and it all comes to a end, and the fear of the aftermathof the end of this 'waqti samjhauta' scares her as well. And the perfect culmination of the scene was with Khirad praying for Hareem's well being. The desperation was clear in her words, that Allah may take away everything from her, and just have mercy on Hareem. It somehow indicates that she will be eventually ready to give Hareem to Ashar as well for her better upbringing.

-Ashar leaves smoking. 😊 This little gesture was so significant! Ashar had resorted to smoking in his phase of depression. He had stopped caring about his own health. But now, with Hareem in his life, he has come out of that phase. He has a reason to love now. As it is said, we start to take better care of ourselves for the sake of the ones of who love us. Ashar knows how much he means to Hareem, and he wants to be a better person and a better role model for his daughter.

-I loved, loved, loved how Hareem called up Ashar to demand a visit to the zoo! It was so cute! And it showcased how much the father-daughter relation had grown. The daughter always runs to her father, away from the strict mother, to get her stubborn wishes fulfilled. And as expected, the Papa Ashar accepts immediately, leaving behind all his kaam dhaam to take his dear daughter to see the lion. Awww. Hareem is one intelligent girl, clearly knows the weakness of her father. 😆😆😳

-Ashar making Hareem apologize to Khirad. No matter how possessive of his daughter and how much he expresses his detest towards Khirad, he wants his daughter to love, respect and adhere to Khirad. I like how HS did not take that angle where either of the parents have poisoned the little child. No matter what there differences are, they shall burn all of them to ashes for the sake of their child. And the hopeless romantic in me loved the little conversation Khisher had there. 😆

-Ashar shouting (for no reason) at Khirad. Okay, his mother called. He decides not to tell her. He is lying for the sake of his daughter. Why are you shouting at Khirad? Well, as it was discussed here yesterday, Ashar is trying to provoke Khirad. And it was evident here in his voice and posture. He walks up to her, spitting at her his problems, leaning into her dominantly, telling her again and again she is his culprit. How desperately the poor guy is trying to get out something from her. Seeing this Khirad is the shock of the life for him. Is this the woman who was not even capable of being angry at him for a single second? He wants her to speak, anything at all, but say something. On the other hand, Khirad very curtly makes it clear that his mother is his problem and all she has to do with him is Hareem's surgery, nothing less and nothing more. Here, again, the stark difference between Ashar and Khirad shows. A part of Ashar, which had built in a huge unmovable iceberg for Khirad, has started to melt the moment he laid eyes on her. Whereas Khirad has not once, until now, fallen weak for him. The mother in her still stands strong, the woman in her still stands indifferent. Also, FK and MK were beyond any praise in this scene! 👏
(I will include 'waqti samjhauta' scene here too. It reflected almost the same thing. Ashar's attempt to invoke emotions in Khirad, and Khirad giving him the same indifference to irk him even more.))

-The car scene, where the family is returning from the hospital. The way both Ashar and Khirad are recalling the doctor's words was perfectly executed. The same thing worries them, and it was one of those rare moments where their eyes meet. Because in this whole wide world, it only the two of them who can empathize with this pain. Khirad may have Batool Khala, but no one understands her pain better than Ashar. They are on the same boat, two parents fighting for their daughter's health, living day and night in the fear of losing her. No matter how juda they both are, they come under the same shade in the heat of this pain, and that is each other's unspoken support. With no words exchanged, both Khirad and Ashar know that for the sake of Hareem, the other will be there, if not supporting as the spouse, supporting as the parent of the same child. Stringer than the bond of love is the link of a child. 😊

-Mujhe bahi chahye 😆😆 Oh man, how have I cracked up on this scene. 🤣 I wanted to pull Hareem's cheek, she is so cute! And Ashar's expression was hilarious. Oh, I wanted to pull his cheeks too. 😆 And the way Khirad's shout at her. *Awkward moment anger* 😆 And then again, that cute pout of FK after Khirad leaves. 😳 Loved this scene. Kyun Ashar jee? You are ever ready to fulfill all your daughter ke farmaaish. Ab yeh pura karo toh jaane. 😆

-My favorite scene, which shall even make to to 10 HS scenes was where all three of them fall asleep on Ashar's (and once Ashar and Khirad's) bed. Khirad's hesitance to sit on the bed, and Ashar's silence was a treat to watch. A blend of happiness and sadness ran through me. Ashar's silence somewhere suggested that he did want Khirad to be there, he did want the incomplete link of their family to fall in place. Even though in pretense for their daughter, even though for a fleeting moment, he wanted that momentarily happiness. And the way, at the end, their hands were on top of Hareem, touching each other's touched me to no end. Yes, they hate each other. The list of issues they re fighting on is endless. The angst and anger bottled up inside them for each other is brewing day by day. And yet, they are united by the child, by their daughter, by the testimony of their once beautiful love. 😳😊

Also, the hopeless romantic in me loved all the little interactions between Ashar and Khirad. 😆 The chaye scene, and the one where she offers to make dinner. There is nothing normal or romantic here. In fact, it's miles away from being that. And yet, something inside me rejoices each time they talk or interact. 😆😳 I don't know why, stupid of me. But I want to add that in the last three episodes, the post leap ones, Fawad and Mahira have hardly talked. But even then their is something about their chemistry that sends chills through. They simple have to be in the same frame to set the screen on fire! FM have brilliantly brought this chemistry alive, hats off! 👏

Lastly, the last scene! Oh, I feel bad for Sara. Poor thing has been daaloing dore on Ashar since the last four years, and her he is, dining with his wife and daughter. 😆 And I cracked up at Hareem's cute "Bye Aunty"😆 But yeah, Ashar's outburst at the mention of Hareem in such inappropriate words was bang on! I loved the anger on FK's face, fabulously emoted. 👏 Not a word against my daughter woman, beware.

So yeah, HS is getting better with every episode. And now awaiting Fake Farida ka comeback. 😡😆

Few things I noticed-
-When Asher takes Hareem to her bedroom to tell her a story instead of staying in the guest room as Hareem first asked...didnt Khirad seem bereft for the first time since the leap...as if it pricked her that Asher didnt want to be around her.
-Sara despite everything SENSED something is different about Asher. She sensed he was up to something even before she saw Khirad and Hareem.
-To Asher's friend who returned after 4-5 years the 3 might have seemed like normal family. They wouldnt guess the storms raging inside.

Today's Episode was again a Sweet one! Wid sum good elements thrown in between.. The Beautiful Relationship that has evolving between Hareem-Asher was beautifully shown. Her Cute rqsts and demands to her Papa and Asher's priceless expressions and smiles were Muahhh! ❤️ Fawad Khan was pure brilliance! 👏👏 This man was nothing but a perfect choice for Asher Hussain..!! 😊 A Man who himself is a very devoted father in his real lyf can play the character with ease..❤️❤️ Oh How I love this man! The little interactions b/w Asher-Khirad. The whole Waqti Samjhota thing potrayed their helplessness. Spcly Khirad who though is happy to see her daughter happy but feels an outsider to Asher's house and in his life again.. I feel pity for Sara in the closing scene.. Loved the performance by Fawad-Naveen! Very Powerful!! 👏 Soo.. The Fake Farida returns! Let see what Bawaal she creates?? As the story is nearing its end, It seems to gaining momentum! A good episode..😊

Neither grieving for myself nor for others, sans any grievance against you,
Never ever had I frittered the separation night in such a bizarre gaiety!
I think it means that I have lost everything and am concerned about nothing related to us. And the night of separation now seems a waste and loss to me.

Ranj means grief , malal means regret

Shab means night , firaq means separation (Shab e Firaq means night of sepration)

gawai means losing some thing.

well it seems that poet is saying that on the night when he was not with his beloved he was not in grief of his own pain, neither he was listening the grief and pain of other people... So his night of separation was totally useless... By the way in Urdu poetry the Shab e Firaq word normally used for the pain of separation

Zikr-e-Shab-e-Firaaq se Wehshat usay bhi thi,
Meri tarha kisi se Muhabbat usay bhi thi..

@RomAtHeart
Loved your take on the episode which is going fully emotionally charged some last episodes , after separation . Sometimes it appears as if Asher is perplexed with Khirad,s behavior , she does not react . And rightly said , he intentionally seems to be provoking her to react but Khirad has made an ice wall around her where Asher can not reach . she stand defiantly as a proud woman when Asher was trying to make her feel guilty about his mother,s call . Khirad looking in to his eyes tells him its his problem . None of them are loud . You feel sad when watch this make believe happy family for the sake of Hareem . Asher never tries to belittle Khirad and wants his child to give her the same respect .
As you said there are so many small moments which touches you . Is this Waqti Samjhota ( compromise for the time being ) Asher has heard when Khirad was talking to Betule Khala ? He leaves no opportunity to provoke her so that she break her silence . Asher is no fool , its his ego which is preventing him to confront Khirad ,what was the truth ? Either he trusted his mother . ,If he had trusted his mother that Khirad went with Khizar and all the crap his mother fed him , he might be in the impression that she was not in love with him and thats why keeping his distance . His love for Khirad is not gone anywhere , still there , melted after her coming back .
Like Mahira with speaking eyes which gives message to Asher loud and clear .
Fawad Khan can bring life in to a listless character
