An old post-

Asad and Zoya ... Zoya and Asad

Asad has a knack of saying what's on his mind... with such finesse. .So far..my favorite thing about the show.. Asad's dialogs Whoever is writing those.. good job also amazing job CVs. . in bringing
another multilayer character to life.
Asad is not just interesting, he fascinates me by his unusual mix of serenity and angst.

I am already thinking...about ..when ...Asad will start feeling the pull towards Zoya..his first genuine smile after falling in love.. Asad realizing Zoya is his life.. Asad missing having Zoya around..

Most importantly..I am looking forward to seeing Asad realize love hurts but that doesn't mean he shouldn't be in love or reject love.

Zoya is equally endearing. I am waiting for unleashing of hurricane Zoya in Asad's heart and looking forward to seeing all walls, barricades and shutters that he puts against the others...come down :)

I am already thinking .. about Zoya unable to look away from Asad's stares.. fall in love.. search around a room for Asad's presence.. I hope she is the one who confesses her love first.

Most importantly I am looking forward to Zoya telling Asad..love will hurt but she will not stop being in love with Asad.

(side note- I am not KSG fan. Can spot several things that can and possibly will be improved upon but with Asad's characterization . I am yet to find any "faults" !! )

(side note - I am still warming up to the actress playing Zoya but the character is lovable. She is pretty and looking forward to her making the character unique and amazing.)

I do not know about others but I loved that sunshine smile and instant warming up of Zoya as soon as she entered Asad's house. It was like she just came in like the
morning sun, brightening up Dilshaad's and Najma's faces.

I know that she is cranky, messy ,loud and so many things , but for me just one thing stands out - Zoya's pure heart. Its so full of love and it radiates the same. I loved how Dilshaad opened her arms to Zoya - it was so warm and comforting.

Zoya is everything that Asad hates and yet , she is his promise of light. :-)

Yet to watch the episodes of 'Everest'.I find it really irrational that a well-read Army personnel can hate his child so much just because the child is a girl 🤔 Will our society be ever free of misogyny? 🥱

'Everest' is bloody freaking awesome! 👏 There is a certain poignance about the story, one episode and am already rooting for the protagnist. Well done Mr Ashutosh Gowarikar! That the background score is composed by none other than Mr A.R Rehman makes the show even more special.

How I wish, more of talented filmmakers venture into television shows making.

"Varun Badola turned director with his show Astitva (directed two episodes), then he scripted and helmed Aek Chabhi Hai Padoss Mein . The actor took the reins for
Star Plus' new show Nisha Aur Uske
Cousins for a few episodes.

Nisha Aur Uske Cousins incidentally also features his father VM Badola as Dadaji. We caught up with the Sr Badola to learn his experience of being directed by his own son. VM Badola said, "I know he is very good at his work. However, I have not had the chance to experience it first hand. Varun has directed only a few episodes of the show. He hasn't directed me yet; so I cannot really answer that question."

Well it's only a matter of time before father and son share the same space in this show. The last time they came together was in Aek Chabhi Hai Padoss Mein . The actors on the show find Varun extremely professional, patient and a cool director. Now that's called being talented, right!"

Woah, I didn't know that Varun Badola has directed a few episodes of NAUC and that Dadaji is Varun's father!
