Who do you think would have done justice to MATH and its characters?

Things in MATH are quite messy nowadays, as everyone would agree. If you have to think of a film producer or author, who do you think would have justified the story without creating such mess?
There are two names I can think of : Late Mr. Chopra and Karan Johar. Mr. Chopra's films have always created magic onscreen. The only one I remember watching is Veer-Zara, one of my favorite love stories. I feel everything was perfect, and his team did full justice to the story and its characters.
Karan Johar's Kal Ho Na Ho has been my favorite for years. His direction is subtle, honest and grand! He not only perfected himself in love or romance genre but also family drama. K3G by him is one of the finest films we have ever had. I think if he were the man behind MATH, the story would have been breathtaking because of his direction and creative team.
Sadly, our favorite show became the victim of you-know-very-well-what. The show is encompassed within the limits of "Indian Audience". I don't know the future of the show, but I can't think much positive of it.
So, do tell me, who would have done justice to this show and its characters?

Elvish: I agree with you about the movies and directors.but there can't be comparison between movie and show.
1. TV show has to run for months and the story has to remain interesting for 400-1000 hrs wheres movie is 2-3 hrs.
2. Movie is scripted in advance whereas shows are scripted 2-3 episodes in advance.
3. Movie cant be changed later. Shows can be evaluated and changed after every episode.

In both moves and serials one thing is common i.e cast and crew.
I want justice for Ranveer.

You guys didn't get my point. I said if either of the two filmmakers had made this show, they would have had a wider and better view of the story. They wouldn't have stuck upto the Saas-bahu drama or rona-dhona. It's a beautiful love story and Karan Johar who has made some very good movies would have done full justice to this show and its characters. Probably, he'd have explored things decently that would offer us much more than EK has done. It's true the movie is only for a couple of hour and the show has to run for months- and years in many cases- but the movie makers would think beyond the TV audience.

Abbas-Mustan. 😊
There would be nice twists and turns then.

Karan Johar isn't the director for Kal ho na ho. Its Nikhil Advani.
And anyway, Karan makes crappy movies like KANK and Student of the year these days. 😆

Oh, okay! I thought Kjo is the director of KHNH. What's KANK, Preciouss!? Students of the Year was a waste of time. Didn't watch for more than half an hour. 😆

Kabhi alvida na kehna went down the pot due to its central theme of married people cheating on each other. Audinces don't condone that. Lets hope this show does not follow the same route, as the signs are there especially with Ishani's undying love for Chirkut!

Ishaani probably wouldn't act that way because she's a sanskari Indian girl. She'd hate RV and love Chirwag baba but I don't think she'd cheat on Ranveer. For now Ranveer needs to act mature. :3
