When Arijit got voted out,I cried for days..then voted for Qazi..Like crazy.

So agree.I started liking the guy more and more owing to the rude treatment metted out to him by the judges and to some extent the fellow contestants..He was very charismatic,energetic onstage and seemed a genuine soul off stage..yea I remember seeing the clippings of his home and family at Kahsmir..knew he is not the best singer out there,still was compelled to vote for him..Come to think of it,he is the only reality show contestant I've ever voted for 😆..Dont think we should call him a loser etc.FG served as a good platform for him to showcase his dancing,performing skills etc..Dunno why he didnt try his luck in JDJ or telly soaps?:S..Anyway good to see/hear him after looong..whenever I see Arijit,I used to think abt Qazi and wonder whether he disappeared into oblivion or sth😆

PS:I couldnt stand those arrogant girls Rooprekha and Arpita one bit 😆

^^ Yes , these two girls seemed like they were jealous of Qazi's popularity so was that guy in the final Rex .

Arijit was out in the middle stages i think , he was the youngest contestant in the show.

He was entertaing n fun. I never voted heck never will, but did like this guy. He kinda got life to that serious show.
Arjit roamed around with a sore attitude, he still does. 🤢

No idea who he is.Not sure how he is a loser in real life though just becoz Arijit from the same show is famous? If he wants to pursue something other than playback singing its his prerogative. Everyone has their 15 mins of fame and everyone fades away eventually.

I liked rex dsouza..hated qazi. He always entertaned though. Arijit was and is still sore n depressed. Love his songs though!

He was the worst singer ever! Total nautanki without an ounce of talent!

That whole show, Fame Gurukul was so fake, no wonder it didn't get a second season!

They did have something called FameX later on. But FG was the show that started the trend making poor singers win due to viewers vote plus all the nautanki we see today in reality shows. QT had primarily won because people from his community voted for him in bulk. After that pretty much all successful reality shows went that way.

He was such an obviously bad singer, it was almost comical that he actually even got in! Especially because the others like Rex, Arijit, Ruprekha actually had talent in them!

But yeah, the one good thing about Qazi was that he never got into fights and backbiting ect, but no way was he even near the claiber of other contestants!

He was entertaining yes, but that should only have been a reason to get him into the top 5, not let him win the damn show!

Arijit surely had the last laugh!😆
