Q. Will the makers of Bang Bang recover its costs?
Ans. The makers may just hit recovery if satellite revenue is around 45-50 crore which is unlikely. They have fetched high prices outside the big three circuits where they released themselves. But if somehow recovery comes, the distributors where it is been sold will lose and some very heavily. Rajasthan loss alone is set to be to the tune of a 2 crore.

Q. Why have Krrish 3 and Bang Bang not got the real big openings? Was it the promos or is the star value of Hrithik Roshan coming down?
Ans. The first theatrical promo of both films had a huge impact but that has to be backed up with good music for the 6-8 weeks till release. They were big budget film so the music does not have to super hit like a small film but good enough to keep the momentum from first promo. Here the music of both was a let down so some of the impact of theatrical promo was diluted by the time of release. Today you can't let the paying public change its mind. Krrish 3 was saved as the content was there were for the mass audience while this was not the case for Bang Bang.

Bang Bang has grossed around 18 crore nett in five days of its second weekend, The figures are low. The daily five day second week figures are as follows.
Bang Bang
Friday - 3,15,00,000
Saturday - 4,50,00,000
Sunday - 6,00,00,000
Monday - 2,30,00,000
Tuesday - 2,00,00,000
TOTAL - 17,95,00,000
The second week business is looking to be around 21.50 crore nett and the lifetime business at around 140 crore nett for the Hindi version of the film.
Bang Bang as reported yesterday has now crossed the 300 crore mark worldwide. The film starring Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif has collected 161.78 crores nett at the domestic box office. And with this, the action flick has now grossed 304 crores worldwide and indeed it is huge.
Bang Bang is currently the eighth highest worldwide grosser. The film is close to beating the collections of Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani which stands with 311 crores on the seventh position.
The film has met with a huge success in the overseas markets as it has created records in certain global circuits. This is Hrithik's second film to have crossed 300 crores globally while for Katrina this is her third film in the chart.
