Hi Friends,
Every one of us is so disgusted with ruqs behavior that many of us including me have started questioning why we started to watch this serial in first place? I'm an ardent fan of Ja and I watch it in all 3 languages (Tamil,Telugu and Hindi) and as each are at different stages for me it is like a reminiscent of what it was before and thought that at these trying times it could help us to have a bird's eye view of the whole Jalal,Ruq and Jo's equation and may be then it could help us overcome our disgust and be hopeful.
For me Jalal has always remained as a true husband in every way to jo.
As a Son-in-law
In tamil we say marumagan(another son) and jalal has always been a son to Barmal . The Best example is sukanya's wedding track. I still get goose bumps whenever I watch the climax of this track when he hands over ratanpur fort to sukanya and the tears that flow down from jo's eyes says it all.
To giveaway his most prized possession which too is a reminder of his father's dream to him for the happiness of his sis-in-law that too from an emperor who's supposed to have no heart is so endearing
And what more a wife could expect from a husband than to treat her family as his own and respect them.
Trust & Faith
Jo's supposed preg track. I loved jalal in this track very much. He was every bit a true husband and a true shenshah . The way he put all his blame on himself and struggled to bringforward justice and reinstate her prestige was awesome. The dialog he says to her at the end when jo comes to apologies
"I never trust anyone but somehow I trusted you" says it all.
Even after that kyber scenario his reply to Jo "Even if I wish, I could never suspect you" stands as a testimonial to his unwavering faith on her and I believe the greatest gift a husband can give a wife is this kind of faith which makes them truly soul mates.
Love, care and Concern:
I always think of the scenes after jo's recovery the way he looked after her as the most precious doll spoke volumes on his care and concern towards jo and its felt by jo too. I love the scene when she prepares roti and slightly burns her hand and at the moment that pain was reflected in jalal's eyes .
when he later asks her abt her hand her reply to him "My burn is very small ,but for you notice it and ask me is very big" shows how touched she was by his gesture and this care and what more we would expect to have than this care, concern and love.
From this, all I wish to say is.. compared to all these things what had ruq really got wealth and power? .Even she is going to lose the care and concern jalal has as a friend to her. So ultimately even though it seems she insults and is going on winning, she never really got anything expect wealth and power. I don't know what cvs have in store for her but remember the last days of maham when she has lost everything .When death beckoned and as her sins weighed down how desperately she was trying to remember the good (baby jalal) to hold on to her sanity. Even a worst fate awaits ruq.
So even if the villains are glorified the truth remains is amidst all this jo and jalal's love for each other is so pure and absolute that we feel blissful to be a part of their journey.
