Chapter 1

With a smile pinned to her lips she kept on pressing the doorbell until and unless she saw the tall,broad shouldered man in black t-shirt and blue jeans opening the door for her...

What you want????...he questioned in a harsh tone seeing her...

In spite of his obvious bad temper he was looking devastatingly handsome...

Hi I am astha...your fan...just shifted next to your house last night ...
Knowing that you are here these days ...i can't resist meeting you...so a autograph please????...

He was not at all happy with this unexpected arrival of hers...

Astha:Hey what are you thinking ...I am waiting for autograph...she spoke seeing him quiet...

But before she could get her answer another feminine voice caught her attention...

Who is at the door shlok???...

Shlok:No one special...just a fan dear...

OK then come fast...I am waiting for you inside...the girl ordered him...

Shlok:Yeah coming...saying this he again turned towards astha...

For a moment she merely stood,stunned by his insulting dismissal,the blood thundering in her ears...but she controlled her emotions...and again asked for autograph...

He felt irritated now...

Shlok:I don't give autographs astha...please don't waste your time with me...

Astha:Oh I see...she sounded a bit sarcastic...so you mean I should leave now...

Shlok:Yes you should...he was quick enough to answer back...

Astha:OK but can I ask your servant to bring me some food from market...I am literally starving...as I haven't eaten my meals properly from last one day because of shifting thing...and there is not much in my house right now...so if you don't mind ...can I ?????...

Before she completed he called out his driver for astha's service...and himself went inside...

She smiled to herself thinking she had done what she came to do...fired the first shot in her personal little war...

She was making coffee and thinking about the events of last two months when her door opened suddenly and the person she was expecting least made his entry with some shopping bags in his hand...

Astha:Shlok Agnihotri here in my house...what a surprise...

He ignored what she said and moved around to search for kitchen...

As he spotted the area he quietly moved there and started setting the food in plates...

Astha standing behind him smiled at his behavior...akdu...

Shlok:So are you stalking me astha????...he questioned her without turning or looking at her...

Astha:Why would I stalk you shlok agnihotri????...because you are a young,handsome and sexy singer...and being your fan you think I should do it????...never...stalking you my foot????...

He turned and gave a glance to her standing form...

Shlok:What should I understand from your behavior...that you are angry or frustrated for being away from me since last two months...

Astha:You are wrong ...its neither anger nor frustration...after all we have no relationship left now...

Shlok:Yeah you are right...no relationship...so it will be better for you to leave this place...because I don't want to get bothered with your presence around me or my house...

Astha:Really ...I never thought that one day my presence will trouble you shlok...you are tooo quick in forgetting people and emotions...hun????...

Shlok:If you are talking about our affair...then I think... that ended itself when we separated our ways...

Astha:Yeah nothing left between us now...but let me clear one thing...it was you who went abroad for your new projects not me...

Shlok:Whatever...is of no use to talk now as I already told you that time that never expect anything from me like care or love...we will only live and sleep together...

Astha chuckled...excuse me shlok I don't remember when we actually slept together...we only shared bed...I mean we only spent passionate love making nights together...

Shlok smiled and placed the food on the table...you haven't change a bit astha...

Sad to say but you are also the same emotionless man...she spoke while sitting down...

Shlok:I know but can I join you in breakfast????...he asked for her permission coldly...

Astha:Yeah sure...

Shlok:Thank u ...saying this he settled on the chair next to her...

Astha:So with how many girls you flirt after me???...

A smile hit his face... that's something none of your business...

Astha:Shanaya is your new girlfriend na???...you both are staying together...great progress...but seriously shlok I never thought that someone can break my record of staying with you in your home...as you said I am the only one with whom you want a live-in relationship not a one night stay...

Shlok:Are you jealous???...

Astha:Do you think I am???...

Shlok chuckled...I know you very well...

Astha:Then change your opinion about me...I am not the same astha anymore...I am as emotionless as you are...I really don't care where you were and with whom you were all the time???...

Shlok:Oh wowww..is it soo... then why you have came here behind me????...

Astha:I am here because I have taken a break from my modeling career...

Shlok:Even if I believe you ...I want to know why you preferred the house next to me...

Astha:You know I always liked this area thats why...the house was for sale so I got it...and moreover I was not having any knowledge that you were home these days...

Shlok:I don't know why you are here...but whatever it is...pack your bags and leave the place as silently as you came here...because I don't want people to see us together only to create rumors...

Astha:Sorry but you are not my controller anymore...I know whats better for me and what's not...you just go and enjoy your days and nights with your new puppet shanaya...

Shlok:Fine then do what you want to but stay away from me...he left the table and walked outside in anger closing the door behind him...

As he moved out few tears fell from astha's eyes...

Astha:You are the only person I fell in love with...
Despite knowing that you will never love me...still I cann't stop myself from wanting you...and that's why I have decided to live near you...at least something better than living without you...

I didn't know I loved you until you went away...
I didn't much think of you up to that final day...
The music that was you I only noticed when it stopped...
I didn't take the time to tell you that I cared a lot...
My love of life went with you too late for me to say...
I didn't know how much I loved you until the day you went away...
