Today's Take - Case of the Inept Kidnappers

undefined

Rangrasiya has to have some of the most inept kidnappers in the history of TV shows.

First we had Maithili kidnapped in place of Paro ... kidnapper - Sumer. Along with some equally inept goons, so it only took Paro to rescue Maithili. She took two episodes to do it. And she found Maithili easily ... Sumer took her to the right place. Of course, he wanted to exchange victims ... but being inept kidnapper no. 1 - things didn't quite work out that way.

Then we improved - at least the right person was kidnapped - Samrat. And this time, we had two rescuers - Shantanu and Paro. And exchange kidnapping actually happened, so Sumer got captured in place of Samrat. The rescue took about the same time, give or take half an episode. This time the kidnappers helpfully left the address where they were holding their victim written on the back of his picture, so there was no confusion.
Victim - Samrat. Inept kidnappers no. 2
Address where held - godown of Sisodiya sa.

Now we reach the main picture - the heroine gets kidnapped. Since she is the victim, she can't be the rescuer, unlike the first two times, so it's (finally)!) time for our hero to swing into action. However some things don't change ... our kidnappers are still completely inept ... or that hanky was equipped with a tracking device, which is how Rudra found the place they had taken Myrah so quickly. And he took less than half an episode to find her.

The best thing about the frequent kidnappings in Rangrasiya is that they never last too long ... barely a couple of episodes at best. Like I said ... Rangrasiya has the most inept kidnappers in town! 😆

The beautiful collages are as always by Shweta (ultimaterudra) ... thanks, Shweta!

Saree Tales and Mommy Woes

Starting from the beginning ... Mohini takes the opportunity to swing a deal with some random saree sellers, to gyp Myrah out of some of the money she seems to have so much of. Shatabdi wants a cut ... the saree sellers want a little more ... one eyes Myrah's bag ... and Rudra comes in just in time to nip that idea in the bud ... and send the men packing. He also belatedly remembers that he is Myrah's bodyguard ... so no more strange men inside the house, and Myrah is not to go outside without his approval. After all, he's responsible for her safety.
Rudra remembers this for Myrah ... he often forgot it in Paro's case. Character development indeed! 😃

Myrah keeps her distance from Rudra ... and is happy not to hear any bells. 😛

Kids return home ... Dhruv has been in a fight ... because he wants to bring his mother to the parent teacher meeting ... and fought with kids when they teased him that he didn't have a mother.
No prizes for guessing whom he named as his mother.

Rudra and Maithili both panic to see Dhruv (Ashish's BD was very obvious there ... he just didn't have the necessary speed in rushing to Dhruv). Interesting to see that Myrah is equally upset to see Dhruv hurt ... she rushes to him, then visibly forces herself to stop ... says that she should not interfere ... and leaves.
Myrah is maturing at a very rapid pace! 😳

Rudra and the kids ... Koel is the big sister for Dhruv ... she protects him when his innate honesty makes him spill out his innermost thoughts ... Myrah has been sent by my mother ... she sings like my mother. You and my mother used to fight a lot too, you never loved her in the beginning ...
Rudra tells him that he knew very early that there was something special between him and Dhruv's mom ... but he took time to realise his love.

Dhruv's innermost wish spills out ... that can happen with Myrah too ... maybe you haven't realised yet.

Koel shushes him ... but too late ... too much said too soon. 😕
Visibly upset Rudra ... the kids leave.

To Wed or Not to Wed

Myrah is sensitive all right ... and quick on the uptake ... the kids' very transparent attempts at pairing her and Rudra have not gone unnoticed. And the recently established friendship gives her the right (and the confidence, but she always had enough of that anyway! 😆) to talk frankly to Rudra ... in a way that Maithili should have done, but did not.
So Myrah broaches the topic of re-marriage to Rudra in a way he can't dismiss.

For Dhruv's sake.

Because it's obvious he's missing his mother. His tendency to try to pair up Myrah and Rudra, the Radha Krishna hints ... he wants a mother of his own. Rudra should think about re-marrying.

Myrah has read Dhruv very correctly and accurately ... she understands him very well. But again, Myrah is missing a key piece of the puzzle ... one which no one has told her about yet. It's not just any mother Dhruv wants. It's Myrah ... because of her face.

Rudra refuses ... he can't ... because he will never love anyone the same way again.
Myrah agrees ... but that's not necessary, is it? People marry for companionship, for their families ...
Rudra asks her ... will you be able to marry like that? Without love?
And he gives her another long lecture on love ... what it means, how difficult it is to live without the one you love ... and how he can never marry without love. And he asks her again ... can you marry without love?

It sounded like he was asking her if she would be ready to marry him, knowing that he could never love her. 😕

As he turns away, Myrah murmurs ... I haven't even known this kind of love.
How can she answer his question about marriage with or without love, when she doesn't even know what that kind of love is?

But she doesn't say that to Rudra ... she makes some excuse about wanting sarees ... Rudra back in protector mode, repeats that he's in charge ... Myrah shouldn't go out without him ... if she wants sarees, he'll take her shopping. Myrah is not happy ... she doesn't like being dominated.
So unlike Paro ... who was happy to take Rudra with her everywhere.
And Myrah is irritated ... by those infernal bells ... and by Rudra trying to dominate her.

Saree sellers are back to try their luck ... their luck is in ... they see Myrah alone and manage to entice her out of the house ... kidnapping attempt successful.
Maithili does see her leave ... but doesn't manage to stop her. Myrah wonders whether to inform Rudra ... decides against it.

So Rudra discovers Myrah missing when Uncleji gives an irate call ... Rudra is supposed to be bodyguard ... how did Myrah get kidnapped?! Uncleji is not happy ...

Rudra tracks Myrah with the help of a chloroform scented handkerchief and tire tracks ... either he's very smart or the kidnappers are very dumb ... or there is only one car with those tire tracks in all of Udaipur. And did he call Aman? Hayyeee!!!
And Rudra vows ... he won't let anything happen to Myrah ...

Myrah wakes up to find herself bound hand and foot ... the kidnappers talk loudly and disclose the rest ... not very smart of them. And she tries to talk her way through ... Jhaddu and Pappu need to listen to her. Do they even know who she is? They're dead meat ... her uncle is not just a rich man, he's a minister. They really should have done their homework.

Kidnappers retreat to figure out what to do next ... while Rudra reaches the kidnap spot ... and memories flood back of another night, another woman in danger ... 😲

Hi Diya- Thank you for opening the thread every day and explaining every thing from point to point.😊
Hi Shweths- Thanks for taking the time out from your busy schedule and making the collages.😊

I liked today's episode because it had the essence of Parud once again. Every time, Rudra speaks of Paro it takes me to Parud world. Here are some of my thoughts.

Deceitful moment- KCM lived up to her reputation today by inviting unknown people to the Haweli and telling them to sell stuff to Myrah so that she can get 20% out of the profit. And then Shatabdi tries to ruin it for her and she reminds Shatabdi that they are cheating too by charging her for the room. Talk about cheating. Everybody has their own agenda for cheating.

Twirling moment- Myrah loves to twirl and who else would the Dupatta fall on? Our Rudra of course. Rudra removed it gradually and he really looked good at that moment.😛 And he does save Myrah from being robbed by telling the strangers to leave her purse alone.

Cautious moment
- Rudra tells KCM not to let any Tom, Dick or Harry come inside the house. He further says that Myrah is his responsibility and tells Myrah to be careful. Is Rudra being extra cautious here ? Yes, because he has lost a loved one before.😭

Moment of concern
- Maithili freaks out looking at Dhruv's state and so is Rudra. Myrah is over concerned at this point. Koel told every body that there is going to be a parents teacher meeting and Dhruv mentioned about his mom and dad coming. The boys made fun of him and Dhruv was involved in a fight. It reminded me of the moment when Rudra was scorned for Mala running away from him and kids torturing him at school.

Father-son moment- Dhruv does say sorry but the look on Rudra's face made me cry.😭 It is so hard for both dad and son to face this situation and now that Dhruv is going up he misses his mom so much.😭

I liked how Myrah said that she shouldn't interfere because this is a family matter and that kept Maithili away from getting antsy today.😊

Rudra- Dhruv-Koel- I loved this conversation between the trio. When Rudra asks Dhruv as to why did he say that his mom will come? Koel says that Dhruv thinks that Myrah has been sent by Paro kaki. Dhruv is confident that he will win the game and Koel further reminds Rudra that they didn't tell Myrah about Paro and yet she was singing good Bhajan. Dhruv further says that even you said no to that Aunty about marriage.😊 My heart cries for Dhruv and I just feel like getting Paro back from somewhere and somehow.

Bitter truth moment- Rudra does tell Dhruv that she cannot be your mom ever and what koel said really surprised me. She said that when he first met Paro kaki then he didn't like her and they use to fight a lot. Thanks for asking Rudra who told her and it was KCM of course.

A-1 moment of the day- I loved how Rudra said that it was not like this. He told Dhruv that the first time I saw you mom, I knew that there was something between us, something special but it just took time to understand that love.😊 Today, I wished that I could turn that clock back and give that time back to Parud. Well, Dhruv tells Rudra that is it possible that he loves Myrah but he hasn't understood yet. Koel reminds him to be quiet.

Moment of commitment
- Myrah walks in to find Rudra sleeping and she wants to discuss something with Rudra. However, she doesn't want a no from Rudra because he is friends with Myrah now. She does tell Rudra to get married twice. She speaks for Dhruv that his gesture like making them Radha krishna and he is doing stuff like this to make them get closer. He is a kid and he is looking for his mother and that is why he is getting emotionally attached. She wants Rudra to think one more time about remarrying, if not for him then at least for Dhruv's sake. Is it that easy?

Moment of refusal- Rudra says that he can't do it, he can never love somebody so much. Myrah mentions that people marry for companionship too and many people marry to complete their family. 😊

Rudra's question to Myrah-
Can you stay with a person whom you don't love? It was deewangi wala pyar where you don't like to breathe, that kind of love with which you are incomplete, that kind of love without which you can't stay, that kind of love without which you don't feel anything about this world, Aisa Pyar nahi toh saath nahi, saath nahi toh shaadi nahi.👏⭐️ Rudra asks Myrah can you marry a person whom you don't love?

Stunner of the day- Myrah says that she doesn't know that kind of love and Rudra turns around and asks that she doesn't know that kind of love. Myrah turns that talk around and says that a man like Rudra who is angry all the time can be so romantic and deep which is unbelievable. Well, that is our Rudra Bana looking tough on the outside and softie from inside.😛

Body guard moment- Rudra is protective of Myrah and says that he will accompany her but Myrah says that she can take care of herself. Rudra tells her that she should have thought of this before making him her bodyguard. You are my responsibility now and you are not going to step outside my house without my permission. Time for bells. Rudra tells her to go back to the room. 😊

Ballistic moment
- Rudra gets the phone that Myrah has been kidnapped. Maithili is concerned that what is this new problem? Rudra discovers chloroform and says that he will let nothing happen to her and the fact that he couldn't protect Paro will always be there in the back ground.

Horror moment
- Myrah does realize that she has been kidnapped and it is funny that the kidnappers say that she isn't scared. She refuses to show that she is scared and plays brave. She handled them with ease and didn't Paro handle the goons on her own too?😊

Heart -wrenching moment
- Rudra sees the tire marks and gets the clue and he gets the flashback of Paro dying😭 and is terrified at the thought of another loss. How many of you cried today when Rudra was telling a dying Paro "Tujhe Kuch Nahi Hone Dunga?" That scene brought tears to my eyes today and it has been haunting Rudra for the last seven years and will haunt him for the rest of his life. That is the biggest reason why he is being overprotective about Myrah.😊

The highlight of today's episode was how Rudra taks about Paro and I chose "Adore" as the word for the day.

A- Aboveboard (Rudra told Myrah that Parud shared a deewangi wala pyar)😊
D- Dedicated (Rudra said that Parud couldn't stay without each other)😊
O-Overflowing (Rudra says that he cannot love anybody more than Paro)😊
R- Romantic (Rudra said "Aisa Pyar nahi toh saath nahi, saath nahi toh shaadi nahi)😊
E- Empowering (Rudra says that Parud were incomplete without each other)

I loved how Rudra spoke about Parud yesterday and I loved how he spoke about Parud today and with such adulation.😛

Brilliant acting by Ashish, Sanny and the child artists.

Res...

-----------UnReserved------------

It was a nice episode... And even though I am sad that Rudra is hurting, I am loving his Love wala talks.. PaRud's love is truly some love.. No words... Loved how Rudra talked about their love... Paro's and Rudra's love👏.
I was blown away by Rudra's dialogues just like Myrah.. I feel Rudra's love for his Paro is attracting Myrah towards Rudra... Wonder where this leads to?🤔

Well, Mohini, Shatabdi and Sumeer are so typical money centric people.. They think of nothing but money all the time... Mohini even lets complete strangers into their house because they agreed to give her percentage in their sales... To top it off, Shatabdi was feeling jealous of it.. How insane can these three get in the greed for more money... Mohini and Sumeer I can understand as it is in their blood to be idiots and insensitive... But, Shatabdi?? Didn't expect this from her...👎🏼

And, even though the ladies didn't, Rudra figured out in second that something was not right with those guys... The way he questioned them non-stop... "Who are you? Which shop? Where are you located?" 😆... Major Saab, is always a treat to watch in this avatar... It was nice to see Myrah staying away from Rudra as she finally figured out that the Ghanti's that she keeps hearing are related to her proximity to Rudra... Who ever said that Ghanti's are sign from Bolenath telling her to stay away from Rudra... Looks like they are right as it seems to be working😛...

Dhruv comes home filled in mud... Poor boy is so desperate to get his mother that he ended up being bullied... The way Maithili showed concern and care for Dhruv was really sweet. Also
when Rudra asks him if he was in a fight. She immediately brushes off Rudra saying, "Marah beta waisa kuch nahi karsakta"... That was so lovely... Paro left her son in very good and loving hands 😊 ... I liked Myrah for walking out of the scene saying she should not interfere.. That was really thoughtful of her... And the way Rudra looked at her? I didn't understand if he was angry with her or was just feeling helpless...😕

So, Dhruv said his mom will also come to the parent's, teacher's meet 💔.. God! these kids are getting uncontrollable by each day... Importantly Koel... Damn! this girl and her questions? She will be a very good lawyer one day . I liked the fact that Rudra handled the kids with utmost patience... He didn't lose his cool at all and tried explaining to his son as gently as possible..
Even though sometimes I feel bad and even get a little angry at how these two kiddos corner and annoy Rudra... I can't help but see myself in them sometimes 😳... I mean, form everything that is happening around them, the kids are only picking bits and pieces which they want to see... Ending up with new scenarios to prove that Myrah is sent by Paro... Just like me and lot of RR fans, who keep trying to point to or find even tiny things or scenes which give us hope that Myrah is Paro... If we adult even after knowing so much, filter and see only what we want to... Then why not the kids... Right?

It is hard not to love them... Even though they are poles apart they still form a strong team.. Dhruv is a soft and emotional kid... Where as Koel is the beauty with brains type... The way she counters everything Rudra says.. And also the way she hushes Dhruv saying, he went too far when he said Rudra might be in love with Myrah unknowingly.. It made me wonder who the elder one here is?... Dhruv or her.😆.. Like I said earlier, this girl will do anything to prove her brother right and to make him happy.👏

And after all these days, we finally get to hear from Rudra himself that, he did realize that there was something between him and Paro from the minute he saw her.. Something that was very special.. But he just couldn't understand it then... Beautiful, Beautiful words.. Thanks for saying them Rudra... Love my PaRud... Everything about them is very special...❤️

All I could think of when Myrah suggested that Rudra get married again was, "Danda Kaha hai?? Koi iss ladki ko danda se ek marooo... Thaki isko yaad ajaye ki yeh Paro hai"😛... I understand Myrah was just talking as his friend and with best interest of Dhruv at heart.. But for some reason it made me so sad and little mad... I am not saying she was wrong... She was actually nice enough to explain practically about how much Dhruv craves for mother... And also smart enough to realize that he was talking about her in his school.. But she
doesn't know the whole picture, does she?? Not anyone can take his mother place, can they?.. For him, it must be and can be her, only her or no one else..😔

According to Myrah it was no big deal to marry again as people marry for many reasons. For companionship, For family, For many things.. So, why can't Rudra marry again to give Dhruv a mother?? But is that the right reason to get married to someone??? And Rudra asks the same... "Can you live in such a relationship where you don't love the other person?" Leaving Myrah dumbstruck. And he doesn't stop there... I loved, loved what he said next... Purely Beautiful and Amazing... "A relationship where there is no madness the love. Such love, where you don't want to breath the air in which she is not in.. Such love, which makes you feel empty without the other.. Such love, without which you can't live, where the world seems meaningless... If it is not such love then there is no togetherness and if there is no togetherness then there can't be a marriage..." Wonderful dialogues, isn't it? Dialogue writer Sa, I take a bow.👏.. And all Myrah could do is take in everything he said and look at him, mesmerized by his love for his lost love... Why won't she be? As she never knew or saw such love... Fantastic scene and my favorite.. Not just you Myrah... Many of us never saw such love...

Wonder why she didn't tell Rudra what she felt/thought, when he asks her if she said something? Instead she starts with her chatterbox mode, blabbering away... Rudra very softly tells her he will take her to a good shop to buy sarees but Myrah who is not the type to take orders from others, retaliates.. Pissing Rudra off and making him make his point loud and clear by almost house arresting her and ordering her not go any where without him.. Finally, finally our Rudra Banna is doing his job👍🏼. Can you believe it 😉... Loved the whole scene... It was sweet...

The way Myrah got kidnapped made me 🤣... The kidnappers literally hissed her into their plan😆... It was all because Myrah doesn't like to be bossed around. This girl is truly unbelievable... She starts her Bak Bak even with the kidnappers..
The whole scene was hilarious.. And the last scene, Rudra's guilt of not being there on time for his Paro seems to be resurfacing.. By each passing minute it was more like, he was searching for his Paro than for Myrah..

Oh! Almost forgot... Did Rudra say Amaan on phone today😲?? Oh! I miss him so much... He is the character I miss so much after Paro in the show. Amaan, wapas ajaoo and Paro ko bhi saat lao...😉

Precap, Nothing to say till I see it tomorrow...

great epi - much more on the Parud story and Rudra's thoughts on it
light hearted moments with the inept kidnappers too

@Diya Agree RR definitely have the worst kidnappers i have ever seen - the latest two had clearly no idea what they doing and Myra was right to call them Jaddu and Paapu!
was also extremely impressed to see Rudra's tracking skills back - I sincerely hope he rejoins the BSD after showing his skills today - they need him! and Aman is back though just on the phone - is he married to Sunehri? I still have some hopes on that.
Love Rudra's 'romantic and deep talk' on love - wow it;s interesting how we are now getting to know more about Rudra's feelings for Paro now - at the time he silent about all of his feelings and expressed mostly with his eyes and actions - but it's good to get acknowledgement of his feelings for her and I'm sure somewhere Paro is happy too!
Loved the way Koel protected Dhruv too - she is definitely more like a big sister than little sister in maturity! Felt sad for Dhruv but the parallels are back - Rudra also used to get into fights for his mum.
@T - i loved the essence of Parud too
Myrah was mature in not getting involved in Dhruv's fight aftermath - she was clearly very worried but stayed away from family matters - my heart broke for Dhruv and Rudra too during that conversatin - they both so want Paro back ( and so do we!)
I am so glad we are getting Rudra's thoughts on Paro now when she is gone as he found it so hard to express when she was still here
The flashback scene of Paro in his arms and him trying to save her was heartbreaking ( i can't call that a death scene ever) - how do you get over something like that - answer you never do, you can poly let history not repeat itself and that is why he is so desperate to save Myrah
ADORE - beautiful acronym - he truly adores Paro and you brought that out beautifully in the acronym
@Minnu
Maithali was back to being loving with Dhruv this episode - glad they showed this side of her again - Paro did leave Dhruv in great hands
I think Rudra's look at Myra was a combination of hatred for bringing back hope to Rudra's life that can't be fulfilled and his own secret hope that she is Paro somehow returned to him a combination o f anger and torture
Loved his speech about love we all fell more in love with him after that
Interesting how Rudra ( or more the writers) also remembered that he was Myra's bodyguard now

@Shwets loved the collages again - just the right emotions captured! Rudra looking hot as worried bodyguard and caring father - Myra looking mesmerised by his words on love

well there are many songs remembering lost love - but i would like to include a song - that signifies that there is still hope even after things look so bleak - one of my fave songs - hang in there Rudra ( and fandom!)
