I would, but do mean now which means I have to stay up the whole night. And I would gladly do so, if I didn't have to wake up super early. And Prii, are the dialogues ready? Plus we need the graphics. I did some statistics.

Most kids and teens spend 75% of the time they are awake with a screen(TV, computers, cellphones, smartphones and etc.) of some sort. The International Center for Media and the Public Agenda performed a study that asked 1,000 students in 10 countries in 5 different continents to quit using technology and media just for one day When that day was over, the researchers asked the students how they felt. A student from Slovakia said that they felt sad, lonely and depressed. While another student from Argentina said that sometime he/she felt dead. Most students felt lost and didn't know how else to spend their time. If that is bad, then look at this: A majority of students admitted to not being able to do it even for ONE DAY and gave in to tech before 24 hours was up. If you think only kids and teens are addicted to technology , think again. Adults are just as addicted, if not more. A study peformed by TeleNav Inc. showed that adults are much more willing to give their every day activities, just so they can keep their screens (especially cell phones)

And here's the ending:

Technology is a great tool to have. It has helped millions and will continue to do so. But too much of something is never good, and that includes technology too. Too much of it can e detrimental to your health and life. That is why you two have to curb your addiction to technology.

Success stories:

Many people have been affected by technology addiction. One such person is Beth Feldman, a Westchester, N.Y.-based entrepreneur who juggles a BlackBerry, iPhone, and cell phone from 7 a.m. to midnight and works with clients across different time zones. "There used to be boundaries," she says, "but now there are no boundaries."

She has also often caught herself checking messages during her kids' musical performances and Little League games. Her kids will ask her afterward: "Mommy, why were you on your BlackBerry?"

But now, she is desperately trying to curb her habits. "The minute you see that flashing light, you start thinking, 'Do I need to check it?'" she says. "I'm not a brain surgeon. I'm not involved in life and death matters. I realized I have to draw a line. If I'm watching my kids' performance, it's not the end of the world if I don't return an email."

Even other people are starting to make changes. Scott Dockter, president and CEO of PBD Worldwide Fulfillment Services Inc., decided to take Casual Friday one step further, and created email-free Fridays, where employees are encouraged to talk offline to resolve issues, by picking up the phone or meeting face-to-face.

As a result, he saw an 80 percent email drop-off in the first year and noticed a reduction of unnecessary reports sent and excessive cc'ing. The policy changed habits, not just on Fridays. "People started talking to each other," says Dockter, who now leaves his Treo at work at day's end.

In today's world, about everything is more convenient and accessible due to advances in technology across almost all sectors. The words technology, internet and electronic gadgets itself sounds so fascinating.
Technological advancement is indeed a boon it not only makes our work easier but the quality of work is far and way better.

  • Education has been greatly advanced by the technological advances of computers. Students are able to learn on a global scale without ever leaving their classrooms.
  • Agricultural processes that once required dozens upon dozens of human workers can now be automated, thanks to advances in technology, which means cost-efficiency for farmers.
  • Medical discoveries occur at a much more rapid rate, thanks to machines and computers that aid in the research process and allow for more intense educational research into medical matters.

That's not it,technology has developed each and every filed.

That was the good stuff,Now the bad stuff.

It may seem as though it's a misnomer to even mention any disadvantages of technological advances. However, despite how far technology has taken humans and no matter how convenient it may make things, there are some disadvantages
accompanying this level of access.

E-craze i.e., technology addiction or Electronic addiction which has become a serious and common problem across the globe.
Once a person gets addicted to something it is very hard and almost impossible to stop doing that particular task/job.It becomes our daily routine.

The more advanced society becomes technologically, the more people begin to depend on computers and other forms of technology for everyday existence.
This means that when a machine breaks or a computer crashes, humans become almost disabled until the problem is resolved. This kind of dependency on technology
puts people at a distinct disadvantage, because they become less self-reliant.

Just when technology has been developing, we forget about how many people have got addicted to technology and spoiled their life.

E-craze is indeed a big problem today.

technology has given everyone a bright future but excessive use of anything is harmful. The same applies for technology.

Don't be obsessed to technology as the pros and corns are evenly poised.
