Topic of Discussion: Is It Possible for Them to Love Each Other as Much?

I have been an avid follower of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein (YHM) for sometime now, and my love and appreciation for the serial has progressed beyond a point I assumed was not possible; I cannot recall the last time I watched an episode just once! And I have to say, the intelligent threads and the sense of cohesiveness among the fans, are only a few reasons why I admire our YHM forum!

Up till now, the plot has been predominantly focusing on Raman's past, which has contributed to the development of his character, simultaneously allowing the viewers to identify with both him and his story. Ishita's history however, continues to remain a mystery; I hope the story delves into her past with equal intensity. Raman's intense love for Shagun prior to the divorce has been made apparent on several occasions; from the little we do know about Ishita, it would be legitimate to assume that she was also deeply in love with Subbu.

Both protagonists, now bound by marriage, will eventually fall in love again - this time with one another. My question is, will Raman ever love Ishita as much as he loved Shagun? And by extension therefore, will Ishita ever love Raman as much as she loved Subbu?

Please pen down your thoughts; I would really appreciate your input for this discussion!

They covered ishita subbu story in initial episode. How ishita and subbu were in love and how they separated and she loved him truly and expected that he accept her but he rejected and she was disheartened and ishita let go of her past subbu. Her main problem is that she can't conceived and that's why she was getting rejected and subbu mom always hurt her by taunting about her infertility.

They won't love each other like they love their ex partner but their love will have understanding trust and accept each other with their flows and always hold each other hand when they need support which was lacking in their past relation. Their love will have different spark and aura and they won't leave eachother and will witness their grandchild in 60's 😉😃

It's up to CV's hands😆. As for as Ishu is concerned I can assure She is in love with him She didnt admit it but her harkatein shows it. I cant say whether she'll love Raman as much as Subbu coz they didnt show much about her past. I cant say anything about Raman coz whatever i guess it'll be ulta ho jata hai. I think😕 i didnt understand him well. He may love Ishu more than he loved Shagun.

Ishita's main problem is that she can't conceive. As far as Subbu is concerned, she was over him even before her marriage. She didn't forget the betrayal she got from Subbu though. In case of Raman, his past is much bitter and convoluted. Both of them are in love subconsciously and their love for each other will heal the wounds. Ishita once told Mihika that their (Subbu and her) love wasn't TRUE and it's very difficult to find TRUE LOVE. Raman-Ishita's love will be a true one which in turn will shade off their previous encounters.

Yeah, Ishita is in love and she realized it .I think she ALREADY loves Raman more than she loved anybody but too scare to share this fact with anyone. Regarding Raman, this guy is very confusing. But the way it's progressing eventually Raman will too end up loving her more than anyone but he'll take more time.

Eventually they (Ishra) wud "rise" in love ... Love makes u a better person it gives u strength to fight against all odds that life offers u ...

So far from the back story it seems Raman "fell " in love with Shagun the instant he saw her ... But one sided love can never give u that happiness which a partner can who too loves u ... Shagun was more interested in shopping, wearing expensive dresses , jewelry etc n least bothered abt being happy with whatever she had ... She did not value her husband , kids and in laws or for that matter her own family for all the materialistic things mentioned above...Raman will have to deal with this past whether he likes it or not coz shagun mothered his kids n she is bound to b a part of his present life always coz he can't make a decision alone himself for Adi ...- although she's completely incapable of being a mother to Adi but adi has lived with her more than Raman...

Coming to Ishita I personally hope they don't show much abt her past nor do they get her past in her present coz for a simple reason that her past is painful n she has already gotten over it long time back ... She was a teenager (15yrs f age or something )when she "fell" in love wid Subbu again it might b attraction more than true love ... At that age m not sure if u know that the two ppl r compatible or not ...
N Subbu not only broke her trust but also in a way insulted her when he broke the engagement...

Coming back to both Raman n Ishita both of them were broken souls before marriage n because theirs is n arranged marriage it will take them some time to understand each other love each other ... Raman's past will always b there in his life coz of the reason mentioned above ... It's upto him how he wud manage his past and present ... Whereas for Ishita's past I think she has completely forgotten ...

I think it is high time when these two broken souls shud come together n complete each other...

They will both realise what love means when they both are completely in love with each other and what they had before is nothing compared to the life they built together for eachother.

The show is still new,i am sure the cvs will slowly show us ishitas past.
