As for the antipathy, two reasons I can see-

1 The portrayal of Jalal has been somewhat inconsistent of late and some people want to put blame of this on Jodha since they see it as an attempt by Ekta to promote her female lead at the expense of the male

2 There has been antipathy against Jodha by some for quite some time now, it boiled over in the misunderstanding track. It is very difficult for those same viewers to forgive Jodha for it. It will take time.

But we are needlessly worrying, the overwhelming majority of viewers still love the portrayal of Jodha and the track.

Thanks, Donjas!

1. Akbar is known to be great and Ekta doesn't have to do anything to promote him. But Jodha is little-known. And if Ekta takes steps to tell us more about this formidable queen then we should be thankful to her.

Just because A is being praised doesn't automatically make B fall in anyone's eyes.

2. In the MU track (separation track?), Jodha was behaving like a normal wife. If I were in her place, I would also take time to trust my husband if he had thrown me out of the house on the basis of mere suspicion. If anyone expects her to forget everything and return to her husband just because he is sorry, then they must seriously believe a wife is not human but a machine that has no feelings/brain/heart/soul and has been built solely for the sake of entertaining/serving her husband.

If she had returned then instantly, Jalal would never have realized her value and would never have changed his attitude towards her. He would always have remained the kind of husband who can throw his wife around like a piece of furniture and love her when he requires the company of a woman.

And nor would Jodha herself have realized her love for her husband or have had such immense faith in him, as she is showing now. She would always have remained a woman with a broken heart who is never sure of her husband's next move.

If you say the majority loves Jodha, I believe you and really hope this is so. 😊

Thus she is so popular character of the TV currently and won so many awards. If you kindly check the forum posts then you will see only few certain members are bashing jo whereas there are many posts made praising her.

I guess if she would not fight or drank poison or let Mali raped her then also those people would bashed her saying she murdered akbar's pride. Lol

Such negative posts are getting encouragement as none were got warnings or taken strict actions. Our forum however isn't the reflection of what majority feels about Jodha or jalaal. As the next trp and awards will speak the volume.

Exactly, a few members dislike her so much for any and every reason that they vitiate the forum atmosphere with their negativity. Thankfully, like you say, there are some great, positive threads too to balance the scales. 😊

Don't feel disheartened coz you are one of the member whose comments I truly love reading along with donjas. ⭐️ You are one of the best Akdha fan too. 👏

Yes I miss abhay too maybe he got sad seeing all his threads closed. Yes please mansi do keep posting. I love this thread and your posts

Don't be disheartened, Sindhu. I am aware of the bullying tactics on the forum. Even Rashmi got a bad press for some remarks.

I really wish people would loosen up and allow each other to speak freely, though we must draw the line at negativity and unnecessary bashing.

@bold: You said it! It is obvious that someone like Abhay who worked so hard to bring us all so much information for no personal gain should be totally demotivated to post on a forum where his hard work has no takers.

It is a sad day for the JA forum when a gem is thrown away. 😕

Every once in a while I reply to some posts that capture my interest and this is one of them.
Excelent points!!! I've been saying that in some few posts that there are SOME people that no matter what Jodha does, they are never happy and keep bashing everything she says and does. By fortune, they are quite few. And the reason I believe goes farther than being upset because she is being glorified at the cost of the great Akbar. Is because they simply don't like Paridhi as Jodha. Beyond the character itself, they hate the actress. Maybe they wanted another actress to play the role and can't get over the fact Paridhi was the chosen one. So bashing Jodha for everything is their way to protest against the actress... They love Rajat as Akbar to the core, but can't tolerate Paridhi as Jodha.

The sad thing is that they also spoilt another forum that I used to like a lot. The forum has become now what I call "the Jodha haters forum". Nowadays is hard to see more than 20 replies to regular posts, but the "I hate Jodha" posts get quite active. So maybe the people who likes the show, like Jodha and used to be there just left...

I know I may annoy some with my comments but is my impression and POV of what is happening with Jodha and why so much antipathy towards her. If it has been only because of Akbar character degradation, why the riot doesnt go to the ones to blame, the genious CV's and EK?? Why the anger against Jodha that is a mere character written by this group of nonsense people who seems that never took history class??

Ths good thing is that no matter how many haters the actress has, they get doubled by the fans she has. At least for myself I ignore the negative comments against Jodha and enjoy the good comments on her and her performances when they are good, like in the last two episodes.

I m angry with Jalal's characterization in this track. The main leads of any show should be treated equally its my point of view. Why to show one weak to make the other look strong? I m an AkDha fan first & then Jodha or Jalal fan. I vent out my frustration but I don't take it too seriously. After all its a fictional show so why to bother so much abt it. I've accepted the things the way they are and now I m enjoying it. AkDha/PariJat are enough reason for me to enjoy this show.

Hi Neha,

Good to hear from u! 😊

It's alright to criticise. After all, everyone cannot like everything all the time.

I also feel unhappy with Akbar's portrayal. But unlike you, there are some members who don't stop at criticising Akbar's portrayal. They are criticising Jodha, as if she is in some way responsible for the weak portrayal of Akbar.

Let's leave Jodha out and direct our anger, if any, towards the CVs. 😊

Awesome post.I read many comments that Jalal is very strong and he doesn't need anybody's help.
Also feminism can be shown without standing on anybody's shoulder. But I feel why so much discussion on Female power and for that matter male power also.
If we talk about today, it was as simple as this that girls defended themselves.Akbar would be proud of his wives. And please look males and females belonging to each other rather than opposite of each other.
This whole serial is about Jodha and Akbar's relationship.Thats what the makers and in one initial interview Rajat also said that. How they faced problems and fought them together. How their relationship developed is what it will be shown.
Those who have objections then I would ask them , why didn't you take objection on the tagline itself of "jalal ko jodha ne insaan banaya.' These words were harming his image. After this promo, there would have been lot of protests on this idea itself by many people before the serial's telecast started. Why nothing was said at that time ?
Because people know that this was historical show with fictional elements in it.There are always many versions of history not only of Akbar but of great people like Nehru,Gandhi,Subhash Chandra Bose. And this foreign writers are the biggest mischief makers.
They love to tarnish our image ,some of us must have read about things written by them about Nehru and Lord Mountbatten's wife.Similar nasty comments are made on Gandhi too.We ignore them thinking that they are sadistic psychos.
Well some international writers have written derogatory things about Akbar too and then when we can ignore them, why such hooplah here.Atleast they didn't show somethings like he sleeping with many women ,killing innocent people. They never insulted him.
Cvs made a mistake of showing Jalal making a big foolish mistake which even I didn't like. But then he is no god. Ramayan and Mahabharat shows even the gods also made mistake.
Jodha giving suggestions to Akbar is bad then what we do everyday. As a married woman I give so many suggestions to my husband and he never objects it.It is same with many married couples.I always think that in married life ,who did what is not important rather the thing done is important.
Please look at them as a married couple.Accept them as one and as 'Akdha.'

Radhika, a nice take but surely I can't see Jalal was degraded in this track. neither they are showcasing Jodha as great. The fact they are trying to show is that Even a great king who think and write history with his sword can also go weak when it comes to his family. Here they are showing how eager Jalal was to share his love & affection with his just acquired sister for whose love & affection, he had been looking for ever since he has been a child. Just because my brother or sister thought bad of me will keep me at bay if I notice them being in problem. Even before realizing what I am doing, I will be at their service and would try to help them out of the crisis and later I might go back to the same mode or they may not even acknowledge my support but that doesn't dampen my spirit and I will be hell bent to help them. And it is the same case with my husband and he will rush to his people at moment of need and at that moment, if I need some support while he is away, I will have to take care of me and that doesn't diminish his virtue and he will not feel bad that I helped myself in times of need.
If by taking care of my need on my own makes others feel that I made my husband look foolish, the it is their fault. And if I feel my husband should not have rushed to his sister or brother's rescue then it is my fault and if my husband feels I should have waited till he comes back to support me, then it is his fault.
If we should feel that Jodha and others should not have fought for their virtue and it would have been better for them to consume poison, the moment they heard about the death of Jalal, then we would not have seen so many widows, say like Hamida Banu & Maham Anga. What was their fault even if Jalal would have been dead, if they had fought for their life and modesty, why they should be blamed? Who has told that the royal women had to consume poison or commit Jouhar the minute they hear about their husbands death? That should be their last resort but before that they have all the right to live their life.

RIma,

that's just my point. No one is making Jodha great by making Akbar weak.

Jodha's natural greatness is being shown. Period.

What Akbar is upto is something different, which I haven't gone into. Mansi said that the Zee man had told her and a few others that Akbar was planning something and we will see that he was quite clever and not foolish as he appears to us now. So let's wait and see how the track turns out before we say anything about his character. 😊

Instead of celebrating courage and bravery of a Queen, this place has always insulted Jodha.

that too, our own Queen!

we celebrate foreign queens and their tales but we downplay our own great queens. 😕

For many people Jalal's character portrayal is equal importance as of Jodha's so it is difficult for few viewers to accept that undefeated king like Akbar is showed as captive and being tortured.

For me, i loved all the episodes since last week so far. I loved yesterday's episode more than today's episode. Today it was not just Jodha's bravery but the entire harem was awesome. Each and every character were outstanding and that made my day.

Hi, welcome to our forum!

I agree both leads are important.

Pls see my reply to Rima.

Jodha's greatness is being shown. Jalal's is being kept under wraps, at least that's what Zee says. It will be revealed soon. So let's be patient for some more time. 😊
