Why does Ranveer keep hiding his feelings?

This may sound more of dumb question. Not having followed the show from the start has got me thinking something. Ranveer loves Ishaani very much. I'm sure he's not the kind of person who'd give up if Ishaani didn't end up with him. To me he's more like Gopal in Revolution 2020 (ha! Sorry for the comparison; I don't think anyone wants Ranveer's story to end like that). But why doesn't he let others know?

The concept itself is about one sided love story..

Ranveer does love Ishaani but wont confess it..he has so many reasons for it..

His father is the driver of the family..Ranveer has too much respect for Ishaani's father Harshad who treats him like a son..he wont break that trust and love he showers on him though he is his Driver's son... lastly Baa who treats him as the servant of the family..

Even if ishaani is not the real daughter of Harshad but she is a member of the high class family..so another reason the status factor between them..

Ranveer i think will keep his feelings for Ishaani a secret even how much it hurts him but wont confess it...

That's tragic. Though I've read one of the most tragic stories (LOTR books) of all time and haven't been able to come out of it, yet I feel the tragedy of this guy is going to be terrible. I hope show makers don't rune the characters and story. It's kind of impossible for me to watch all the episodes. *Damn*

Same here. Though I don't think Indian producers/show makers can really be like we want them to be. They go for the trp's more than meaningful stuff. Good story is accepted by everyone, but it is sacrificed for the sake of money.

I don't think so,I think it is typical Pardes movie story..(I like that).

He will convince Ishani for marraige and later will find out Chirag is not good for her...

Ishani will understand differences between her and Chirag and for each and every small things she depends on Ranveer not Chirag...Then real drama will start...Ranveer obviously will get kicked out of house and ...with all struggle and hard work he will be big business man(He knows a lot about stock market)...😊 and so on...I think this is a lot to predict future track right now😊

I don't want this story to turn that way, phibi. It'll take away the innocence of the character. I'm not too fond of that film, really. At times I feel it's going to be like Kal Ho Na Ho where Ranveer is going to convince Ishani to marry Chirag; and it'll certainly affect their friendship, and might be a hint to Ishani of Ranveer's love. For me it's not necessary for them to end up together; if they don't, Ranveer, imho, would be one of the greatest lovers of Indian fiction of all time.
