I have stopped watching this show long back, to be exact the last episode I watched was Rk and senior Madhu's death but unfortunately I just couldn't let go of it and I kept reading the written updates and since then it had been nevertheless to say a complete crap. I saw many post taunting Raja or JM so I just wanted to share my views.
The fact that we all loved senior Madhu is because she was not only selfless but also practical. even she too was thrusted with a life she was never prepared to take upon. Rk married her forcefully. but she took the matter in her hand and analysed the situation; tried to understand Rk; tried to change him; taught him what he really could be if he changed himself. But JM was selfish and also impractical from the start.
she tried to give a chance to raju only because Ak wouldn't leave her with any other option. After Ak's death she became a psycho that her love for Raju turned into hatred for Raja overnight for god knows what reason. She could have tried to know the sort of person she was married to but in anger and hatred she became blind and refused to see through Raja's nature or love. Like a stupid she started chanting 'I hate you and I want to go away from here.' but even then she enjoyed this Raja's power and rowdism whenever it came in handy for her. example she was happy when he insulted bhanu for making her dance and taunting agni when she tried to taunt Madhu and when Raja fought Bhanu's man for trying to kill her. in all the above cases she used the unruely behaviour of raja because it was favourable to her. Even then she used Raja's love for her to make him let her go back to mumbai where she thought it was safe for her.
After coming to mumbai also she was not able to escape from raja because her dida liked and approved raja. she continued to destroy the possible chances she had to change raja into a man she would be able to accept. And the suddenly came the rape track where she at last got a valid reason to justify her long rooted hatred for raja. and then too she stopped trying to punish him only after knowing he was far powerful for her to fight with. And as the worst case she was not ready to save bittuji sacrificing her own life and security and after much tauntings from leela she gave in knowing there is nothing left except giving up her hopless resistance.
so finally it was the cvs who butchered her character instead of giving her a dignified woman's role.
RAJA

from the start everything Raja did was resultant of his environment. He was not fit to marry Madhu but still he did because Ak made him to. He started to accept Madhu because she showed him care and tried to make the best out of him. He killed Ak because he was not ready to forgive a man who had tried to eradicate his life along with his wife's. he gave least interest to a woman's heart because he was raised in a family where women were treated as dirt. He adhered to his wife even when his family stepped over women because he could not forget the care she had showed him when he was mentally unstable. He came along with Madhu to Mumbai because he tried to save his marriage life and win over Madhu's heart. He raped her which was the worst any man could do because he was drunk. he tried to save her from the false alegations his family was about to throw because he still cared about her reputation. he never understood what she really wanted because she never really cared enough to tell him what she wanted him to be to gain her love. And at last after he last his mother because of Madhu or that was what he assumed he started to throw back the same treatment she had given him.
when we claim that raja should have understood Madhu then we ought to think if really madhu made any attempts to make him understand. we all want raja to understand madhu was not at fault regarding his mother's death we also should think did madhu try to understand that the rape was also not his fault?
Rape is a heinous act but we should understand the circumstance it was done. he was not in his senses when he did such a horrible crime. being a woman i will never go in support for a rape but in this case it was a terrible accident which raja did when he was not at all in a state to think. in order to make him realize madhu should have made him understand her hurt or rather how far she was hurt by his activities.
from the start the cvs were able to give a valid reason for Raja's behaviour whereas they failed to portray Madhu's character a rational one. So it was the entire fault of cvs. i have not supported or bashed any character with any hypothetical situations i just analysed what the cvs showed so i just want you guys to share ur views and not start a fight between raja or madhu
