Jalal announces that his khas begum has really given him very precious gifts but this time the gift by Salima begum won as her gift will remind him that he should move togather with both hindus and muslims.
He further ask his begums to present those gifts in the diwane khas.
There begum Chuchak was pacing in a room. And a man came with a head of a man on a tray and present it to her. ( i guess its the head of gani khan, who was a loyal of jalal from kabul). She was happy.
There in dewane khaas, rukaiyya enters but her sword was checked personally by Todarmal. Salima begum's gift i.e. neck piece was also being checked. Then jodha came and her taj(gift for jalal) was also being checked. Moti bai says that its from pure malmal( i guess).
Jalal announces that his khas begum will come one by one and will present him the gifts they made for mina bazaar. He ask first salima begum to come.
Salima begum made him wear the neck piece. Then rukkaiyya present him the sword. When jodha came to present taj then only todarmal came running and stopped Jalal from wearing it.
Jalal got angry but Todarmal said that it contain poison. Then hakim came and tested it and told him that taj contain a poison that may affect badly jalal's head skin.
Todarmal asked jalal to let him investigate the case. He asked jodha that if she banded over the taj to anybody but she refused and said she kept it near Kanha. Todarmal told that then it may be possible that poison would have mixed when she was in a deep sleep.
He then ask Jalal to let him investigate jodha's bandies. But jodha says that moti bai could never ecer do this. Jalal ask todarmal to be liniant with moti.
Jodha thought that again she was the medium to harm jalal.

Jodha was crying and jalal ask him very politely that if she mixed the poison. ( he was consoling her)
