Hey guys,
So, I have seen many posts on todays episode... some positive, some negative, some speculations and future predictions. I just saw the episode, and usually I never get the time to post my reflections... but I thought, since there is so much going on here in the forum, I might as well give my 2 cents.
First of all, I think tonights episode was finally a step forward... we finally got to see some of the Ishra conversation we have been waiting for. After the whole salsa fiasco, I was really disappointed that we got absolutely nothing in terms of a real heart-to-heart talk... which I thought was really needed after all that had happened. But chaalo,... der se hi sahi... finally, in tonights episode, we got something. Still not enough, and not really all that I would want... but a beginning! And... needless to say, Divyanka and Karan were SUPERB. as always, fantastic performance. They are perfect. ⭐️ 👏
Ok... so moving on to what happened. I think from the past few episodes, we have seen that there is now care and concern in the Ishra relationship. Its been established that they are in a place right now where they know each other well, and have come to accept there status as husband and wife. They have become a real family. So... thats set. Now what we are finally seeing is Ishra taking that another step forward... with them considering their obligations and responsibilities towards their immediate family... as in, Raman, Ishita, Ruhi, Adi. Ishita has started them off with their first promise. After overhearing Raman and Shagun's conversation, she has realized that in order for her to make her presence really known, she needs to make sure that Raman is open with her when it comes to anything related to their family. Shes working to be a complete mother and wife. Now, I know a few people are upset with whatever Raman said to Shagun. But lets take a step back and seriously consider this. We cannot possibly expect Raman to completely rid himself of his past. His love for Adi is one thing... but we have to realize that Shagun was his first love. He will, unfortunately, never be able to erase her completely. And, their children will always... always keep them together. Raman's memories of when Adi was born is symbolic of this fact. Regardless of how much of a b**ch Shagun is... regardless of the fact that she may have never loved him... HE did. Everything from Raman's side was genuine. And what was even more fantastic was that Ishita KNOWS this, and TELLS him. This, for me, was by far the best aspect of today's episode. ISHITA IS A REAL WOMAN!
Ishita overhears the whole conversation. Us, as an audience,... we might be fuming because Raman seems to be stuck in the past, and he cant forget Shagun because she is his children's mother, blah blah. But Ishita showed us what REALLY should be taken out of all of this!! She was sad, upset... because she knows that she could never give Raman the happiness that Shagun did. But EVEN MORE THAN THAT... she is COMMITTED to becoming the best mother and wife that she can. Being a stepmother and second wife should not come in between that, and neither should her infertility. She is moving past all of that, to focus on what is priority: her husband, and her children. And she is helping Raman do the same. BRAVO ISHITA!! 👏👏
Lastly, this whole stem cell thing seems like just another tool in the bag for Ekta. Its one of those stupid things that will come back to completely ruin the storyline... which I am not looking forward to at all... but I am not surprised. Its Ekta... its going to happen. We cant do anything about it. Im expecting a triangle.. Shagun coming back, Ishita leaving, etc etc.
But... until then, lets just enjoy Ishra! They are climbing the ladder, one step at a time,... and I cannot wait until they confess their love!!
Tonights episode was all about Ishita! Divyanka nailed it as always. 👏
