The saddest part here is that she was dragged into the war which was not hers to fight. Ashwathama in order to destroy the lineage of Pandavas attacked her with the Bhramhastra! Already she had gone through so much in the past two weeks or so and then the final straw came as an attack on her unborn child. She must have been shattered. Its a pity that not much is spoken about her after the war. Especially when she was the emperess to the entire aryavrat!
