Well hi ppl😃...Mahabharat is an epic with pretty strong male as well as female characters...ladies like Draupadi Kunti Gandhari Satyawati n many more are always a hot topic of discussion. But in my opinion there is another girl who is just as strong but some how not much talked about...
I m talking about Uttara. In a time where a lady's life was centered around the men of her life, she lost her entire support system in matter of 18days...
She lost her brothers on the first day itself, followed by the demise of her father n finally her husband... it has been discussed time n again how tragic abhimanyu's death was. How long were they married for?? 6 months?? When she had just started dreaming about the bright prospects of her future all her dreams were shatterd. She wanted to immolate herself in her husband's pyre but was stopped for the sake of her unborn baby. But here again her patience was tested... she had to face the trauma of giving birth to a stillborn... yes we all know what happnd next but imagining uttara's state of mind within those moments before parikshit was revived, is not possible...
In this small post i wanted to pour out my feelings on Uttara n give her strength n hardships a small little mention..it was not meant to disrespect anyone in any way...😊
