Sagai & Wedding over within three viewing days?

Whats the hurry?
As mentioned in the actual drama, there were three days between the sagai and the wedding. Usually the wedding preparations and actual wedding takes about a week or two to be shown in a drama. I personally love watching the rasams performed throughout weddings and the various looks given to the M/F lead. This is where we get to see the little interactions between the leads and their unwilling (in this case) attraction towards each other.
